1) The link says all 15 home games at the Resch this season, interesting. 2) Link also says 1 exhibition, 4 non-conference, and 10 conference home games so no 22-game conference schedule even though we are going to 12 teams, at least this season. 3) Glad to see GB looking to boost ticket sales already. Seems like a great season ticket deal Link: t.co/8hYWBi4UXw

I would not be a fan of 22 conference games. At some point this league will have a team outstanding enough to give themselves a chance at an at large (a chance). Going 20-2or 19-3 while playing 11 road games is really hard to do. Find a way to cap it at 20 either thru divisions or setting the schedule up like CUSA (end of year crossover matchups) or WCC (top preseason teams do not play bottom feeders twice (protect rivalries).
Overall Robert Morris is a great men's basketball addition.

I just hope that coach Ryan continues to play the same type of schedule that darner did. If you can tell a recuite that he will play against the best teams they might just be able to get better players. By the way this is how Gonzaga got started ans look where they are now.

I believe his contract calls for him to generate certain amount of cash through buy games, so I think you will see GB travelling to big schools. Also the additional teams added to the conference should help eliminate the need for games against teams from lessor divisions.

Gonzaga was really good at entering neutral site tournaments and creating one off events to get games.
They very rarely went on the road for money.
They would play Arizona & Texas in Phoenix. They would play Oklahoma State in OKC. They played NC State in New Jersey. They would trade for return games in Seattle instead of on their campus.
There is no evidence of teams playing for money on the road and sustaining success. The power conference teams win at home a lot. They lose on the road and at neutral sites. Gonzaga exploited this.
GB needs to stop playing for money on the road. They need to start paying to enter better tournaments. They need to find other creative ideas to get games where they have a better chance to win.
For example Northwestern and Duke want Pat Baldwin Jr. GB should have tried to book a game at the Fiserv Forum against one. Maybe Northwestern says yes. If not move on to the next idea.
The GB scheduling philosophy is about getting paid. It needs to be about getting in position to win big games so that you can grow your program and school like Gonzaga did.
The answer to the question of who is buying and who is being bought tells a lot about your status in college basketball. If you are being bought a lot you have no chance to do anything but hope for a good run in March.

I can’t wait for the nonfrence then the the conference season to come out but by now they might just announce it all at once since tomorrow is July seems kind of late only like 10 non conference seasons have been announced but the assistant coaches have to be announced and the roster there might not be time to do it all before sepetember before school starts the season will sneak up on them

Syracuse game will be December 8.
Also it looks like the Northern Illinois game in Green Bay will be December 2

I believe an MTE has to be played over a 2 week span of time. If it is starting on 12/8/20 it has to be done by 12/22/20. With the week of 12/14/20 being finals week I would expect GB would be playing either on the 11th or 12th or maybe the 19th to 22nd.
I think ideally GB would like to make LSU and Jacksonville St in one southern trip. That seems like the 19th/20th for one game and 21st/22nd for the other game.
Also, whatever day GB doesn't have a HL/SL game would be a good time for the Wisconsin game.

Is the badgers game going in question I don’t think basketball has come in to question yet but it might I wouldn’t mind not having to play Wisconsin and uwgb doesn’t always play them every year anymore
