Nice comeback so far. Nice to see the team battle the top two teams in the conference close...

Parham is showing me something. Future looks bright. Keep up the effort boys.

To go from down 15 to taking the lead, they didn't mail it in. Two time outs in the first four minutes had to have even the biggest believers worried.
Parham was super confident, he easily could have quit on this team given his place in the rotation. Good for him that he didn't.
In the Wright State game Jespersen played without thinking. He just let it fly and it paid off. I was really impressed. Tonight he made some shots but I saw him take a shot he faked at least once, that never works. What is the percentage of something good happening on one of his drives, 5%? So either let it fly or pass it to someone else.
Tyler Sharpe is the easiest type of player to stop in theory. He doesn't get those shots off the bounce, off a screen or even in transition really. Usually his guy leaves him to help and it never fails that guys like him are standing in one spot wide open with their feet set and knock down uncontested 3's. Kam left him twice late in the game and got burned twice. The D needs to communicate better.
That jump ball rule is dumb. NKU doesn't get a chance to get fouled and shoot free throws before the ball is in bounded unless you give them the possession when the ball gets stuck on the rim. If that was called correctly it gave them the possession arrow two times in a row. The powers that be of the basketball rule book need to get that fixed.
A good effort by the older guys to give NKU a game. Not much of a contribution from the freshman so that doesn't get me too excited for the future. Sitting at 5-10 in the league and probably not winning another regular season game also has cooled by jets a bit. The only home game is against the hottest team, tonight withstanding, in UIC. Then two more road games when the team is win less on the road for the season. Granted both are places that GB usually plays well. So 8-10 is just as possible as 5-13. The program needs some momentum.

haslametrics.com/ratings2.php?yr=&tid=5501Yes statistics are for losers but trying to find a silver lining to the better play of late. Two good showing vs top teams and the last two wins at the Resch has this team 8th in the country in Momentum and highest overall ranking at 271. They are also up into the 280s for Kenpom

Bad coaching by Linc. Starts by recruiting the right players. It doesn't do you any good to go to NCAA Tournament with Wardle's players. Only two players that were Linc's players were the twins and they had no impact on the team. Lets see how bad of a team we will see once Wardle's last player leave next year.

Easy for an arm chair hoopster.. I hope I speak for everybody else on this board when I say if all you want to accomplish on this board is post negativity about coaches and players then maybe this isn’t the right place.

I frequent this board everyday, however I do not post at all. "retire24' has caused me to change that. We are all frustrated with how the season is going, however, remember that even Brian Wardle could not make it to the NCAA tournament with his players. Linc coming in his first year and making the NCAA tournament is a great accomplishment. Linc deserves a pass this year because he has such a young team, and almost all new players. If next season is a mirror image of this year? Then maybe it is time to talk about some of the things "retire24" brought up.

Linc brought in Charles Cooper who started every single game that season and was 2nd on the team in scoring. He also brought in Jamar Hurdle who was a pretty important piece as well. Without those two, I can safely say that they probably wouldn't have made the NCAA tourney that season.
