I like his size and his highlight video. He looks like Kenny Lowe and Jamar Hurdle in one big body. He seems like he would play a big role for GB.

Evansville, Kent St, Little Rock and Milwaukee are his final four. Rather unfortunate as he could've played a huge role for us this year. In any case, I hope Linc is hot on the recruiting trail, because even with Manny, we still need another big, preferably one that can contribute today.

That's a good get for them. Seriously. We've been very shallow in the post ever since Kyle Kelm graduated. In 2014-15 and 2015-16, it was all Matt Tiby and J.J. Panoske. Brett Prahl took forever to develop, but when he finally could get on the court this year he showed real promise and some surprising moves for someone who played about five minutes per game in 15-16. This year it was just him and Nze. It's real hard to judge how this team is going to be next year, because it's such a huge jump up to contend for the conference title. The team could make enormous strides and still finish fifth or sixth in conference. We've got some fans who are beyond excited for Johnson and Caleb Nero, the Tulsa Memorial guard we picked up on Friday. I keep telling people to temper their enthusiasm, don't predict big moves because they're just setting themselves up for disappointment if the team doesn't achieve. I still think 2018-19 is the season where we could be in contention for the title, but there's so much work between now and then and you never know how players will develop (or even what players you will have, with this damn transfer epidemic). At least with Linc Darner, you know you have a head coach who has proven to develop talent over many years in the first chair on the bench. LaVall Jordan was credited with the development of Trey Burke and Nik Stauskas at Michigan, but that's as an assistant. I hate being a drag on the conference. I really hope our time as one of the worst teams is short lived.
