Nice find and it looks like we have a new player? Seeing he was left go so can he play this year, no waiting.
Article from their paper seems like he made a mistake last year, it happens.

Unfortunately he will have to sit out this year. We could've used his scoring ability this season.

I am hoping for the best, if he is a two year walk on then I am optimistic that this is a good addition. If he is on scholarship then I am less optimistic. So between him and Jesperson who is paying their own way?

Back to Jones, he must have been hurt during the two Bradley games I watched live last year because I don't remember him. While he did lead them in scoring, 30% shooting isn't good. I do like his size for his position and he will be very experienced when he does get to play next year.

This has me very curious about the vision for next year. Findlay, Brown x 2, Small, Cooper, Jones, Hankerson and Anderson is a lot of guards.

I could see Linc redshirting Hankerson since he's a bit skinny, and if all of the guards on the roster presumably return for '16-'17. Based on their size, Cooper and Jones would play the 3rd guard, and if Linc is looking to push the ball up the floor even more so, I wouldn't be surprised if he used 4 guards depending on matchups. We've seen 3-4 guard lineups in the HL, so having more depth at guard won't hurt.

Based on the picture from Scotty V, Jones looks a little taller than 6'3" since he's standing next to Hendo who's 6'11".

I would like to see Mocs take on this since he's seen Linc's teams play.

I'm not sure how they would show him there since he is not eligible. But it is clear he is with the team.

Playing four guards gives up a bunch of rebounding potential - I don't see that happening much unless one of the taller guards competently plays larger that his height would indicate. Three guards is going to be pretty much a constant thing. The best scorers and BEST DEFENDERS will be there. Linc's game is much more defensively oriented than you might think. That and PACE. Linc doesn't care if the possessions last 4 seconds as long as they end in a score. My thought is that Linc likes Jones because he is a smart, athletic and team oriented player.
