Congrats to Andrew on the new job. Thought he did a great job promoting the program and the athletic department.

That is not a surprise to see him leaving. This will round out his resume more to help him grow in his career. Possibly a next step to being an Athletic Director on his own at some point. This will also put him closer to home which is probably important as I would guess at some point he will want to start a family and have them be around his family.
It is not a surprise in that he hasn't really tweeted a lot about GB athletics and the website has been lacking in content. Plus I think some members of the athletic staff that were there for Bothof and Wardle are having an adjustment to MEG and Linc. Not saying this for Andrew in particular but change can be hard I know some people in GB who are still working through these changes.
He did a good job to promote GB athletics in his five years and I trust GB will find a capable replacement.

I wish Andrew well. This is clearly an opportunity for him to build his career. At the same time GB should have some good replacement options. I'd be looking at audition tapes for preformance skills and the ability to manage/create material for a webpage. Make him or her write material on a deadline during the interview process to make sure the job candidate can hit the ground running.
