Excellent to learn today that there will be free streaming for this event. I don't see the games listed on the Atlantic Sun TV website yet, but it has been reported from multiple reports that it will be available there.
East Carolina of the American Athletic Conference should be a quality test. They finished 17-17 a year ago after a loss in the opening round of the CIT.

Apparently WNFL is available on 92.1 FM now as well as 1440 AM. Hopefully their signal will be stronger

Scott Venci's preview: Green Bay versus East Carolina: What to watch forI also have a philosophical question, is East Carolina a mid-major or high-major? Large school, football in the American Athletic Conference. I really don't know what kind of budget they compete with.

Nix up 17-3 11 minutes in. Great to see them respond with this defensive effort after the struggles against Wisconsin.

Nix win 66-49. ECU's zone kept Sykes from going off, but a balanced attack was effective, with 55% shooting.
Phoenix defense hold the Pirates to 32% shooting, and the Nix dominated the glass.
Simply an impressive win. ECU will be a very effective offense team again this year.

GB wins 66-49. The game was always in hand after both teams had a slow start. We had a lot of fouls some deserved some not. Rebounding was very good which was expected against ECU. ECU played zone the entire game. Kind of a blah game to watch but a nice win, with some experience against a zone.

Well played game. Very efficient. Good to see Al get some good run and look like the player we all know he can be, his first half was superb. What's up with the floor and the slickness of it? It makes me nervous when floors have slip spots, like this one seems to have, also those camera angles they were using for close up shots are brutal, I guess I can't complain because it's free, but a few times I thought I was on the S.S. Minnow during the storm right alongside Gilligan I was getting motion sickness, I damn near threw up my lunch. Looking forward to tomorrow, I like how deep we play to keep fresh legs for these back to back games.

Could not get the streaming video to work. Tried the links with no results. Do you have to set up an account?
Audio from Wnfl was good.

Evansville up next. They'll be a serious test. Not big, but extremely skilled, including 6'2" SG DJ Balentine, who averaged 20 PPG a year ago. Defending the dribble will determine the outcome of this game. Should be a great one.

ECU defeated Fresno State 58-52. That's the exact same score as the Evansville/Fresno State game.

I missed the 1st half until about 2 min. mark when Botz hit a 3. Close game winning by 2 with them getting off a 3 and a 2 in the last few seconds. I think we got lucky but Evansville seems to be a good team and this was their 1st loss of the year. Hard fought game that I thought we should have pulled away. A couple of defensive lapses hurt. We would get a 4-5 point lead and then quit attacking and throw up 3's? Also FT % was'nt very good at one point we were 11-20 late in the game. Sykes was the star, he took a hard fall when undercut on a dunk near the 2 min. mark but stayed in. Good part is we play for the Championship tomorrow. I'll look for the stats. sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/green-bay-phoenix-evansville-aces-201411250193/ps Detroit beat Toledo tonight also. 10 PM news said Sykes injured his right wrist?

GB vs FGCU should be very entertaining. Has a bit of a bracket buster feel to it...both teams will be top 100 RPI teams at the end of the year so another opportunity to build the resume. Without watching the game was surprised to see FGSU take care of San Francisco that easily...SF should be 4th best in WCC behind Gonzaga, BYU and St Mary's
