Jerry Palm now has Green Bay in his "First Four out".
It's unbelievable how well things are falling right now.

PantherU - I don't think the NIT Selection Committee would give us a #1 seed. I guess I'm a little more pessimistic. If we get a #3 or #4 seed which would give us 1-2 home games if we win, I would be happy.....I still think there is some good 'ol boy networking going on. I still think the 8th and 9th place Big Ten and Big 12 teams will get preference over GB despite those facilities being half empty with apathetic fans..... GB got a lot of help last night but some of that was negated by NC State and Providence winning. I think Providence is in and NC State got themselves on the bubble, which still keeps us in status quo IMO, although Joe Lunardi doesn't have us on his radar now and Jerry Palm has us on his first 4 out. If we don't get in, we can't complain about it this time around like in 1992, when it was a true screw-job by the NCAA Selection Committee. Another regular season win (EMU, Valpo, or UWM come to mind), and we are in a strong bubble conversation instead of having a faint ray of hope.

I wasn't sure if I wanted Tulsa to win or not. La Tech still might get in over GB. But at least it's one more thing on GB's resume to have beaten the CUSA tourney champs.

Virginia just picked up a win for you as well and is in the ACC Championship tomorrow.
Now the Badgers need to beat Sparty.

There is always at least 1 surprise team every year that gets in every since they expanded to 68 teams and started doing the First Four
2011 - VCU and UAB 2012 - Iona 2013 - Middle Tennessee
By my count when Providence won tonight that all but locked up 67 of the 68 bids leaving 1 spot wide open.
I think as of now Iowa, SMU, Xavier, Dayton, Tennessee, Nebraska are 6 of the last 7 teams that make it in and 3 of those 6 will be playing in Dayton along with 1 of the following teams.
This leaves 1 spot for a mass of possible teams
BYU NC State Florida State Minnesota California Green Bay La-Tech Southern Miss ----------- Toledo Arkansas Belmont Missouri Georgetown

Of that list it's basically either Green Bay, BYU, or Minnesota imo.

Of that list it's basically either Green Bay, BYU, or Minnesota imo. Agreed. Committee Chair Ron Wellman claims they take injuries into the selection. BYU lost Kyle Collinsworth for the season in their final game. He averaged 14 ppg, 8 rpg, 4.6 apg while shooting 50% from the floor and 36% from 3. No way a bubble team can sustain a loss like that and still win in the tournament. Much like when Green Bay was left out when John Martinez was injured, BYU unfortunately needs to be left out and be replaced by a team that is now healthy after only losing in its conference tourney when riddled by injury. Green Bay has a major win and has beaten 3 teams in the field. They'll add more excitement to the tournament than some high major 6th place team. Put them in! They'd be ecstatic to play in Dayton on Tuesday.

hoopshd.com/This site goes step by step and builds the entire bracket. They put in Green Bay as 11 seed in Dayton. If you want to watch it fast forward to the 1 hr 6 min mark to hear about how they ended up putting in Green Bay.

Virginia's win over Duke in the ACC Tournament has got to help Green Bay's cause.

Virginia's win over Duke in the ACC Tournament has got to help Green Bay's cause. At this point I don't think it matters I think the committee selected all 68 teams by the end of last night since we had no potential bubble stealers playing today.

NC State has no business in the tournament.
Bummer.

No bid, but huge respect on national selection show for the program.
We got mentioned about five times as often as the top seed.
Now prove them wrong by winning us some NIT

Rob Demosky is doing some posting on Twitter about this. I respect him but wish he would leave it alone. The wound hurts too much even if his observation may be valid. It comes off like dancing on a grave.
