Is the 12/28 game against St. Francis NY, St. Francis PA or any number of non D1 St. Francis teams? I looked on the websites for the frist two and didn't see GB on their schedule.
I really don't like the 8 pack option as the minimum to get the UW and UVA games. I have done the mini pack for several years and even doing that I have had to sit through some bad teams. I understand the business element to the 8 pack but I am not sure that it rewards people who have been buying some tickets in the past. To be honest I don't see 8 home games that I really want to go to given the dates, opponents and that I have to drive up from Milwaukee.
With that said I do see a schedule with 20+ wins available, a see a schedule with a few nice upset opportunities, I see a schedule with all non con road games being expected wins and I see a schedule with a few solid mid majors to boost the RPI. So while I don't like that it isn't all that convenient for me to buy tickets I do like that it sets up nicely for the Phoenix to have a big push near the top of the mid major rankings.

Was bummed out when I remembered Loyola left the HL, I would have gone down to Chicago for the UIC/Loyola trip they used to have since I'm a little over an hour away now. I'm sure I'll come home for some more games other than those, but being 3 hours away now, after going to school at GB for 2 years, kinda sucks since I'll only see weekend games and ones over winter break. However, if we host the HL tourney, I'll definitely come home for that. And if we make the big dance I figure I'll have to go to the first round game as long as it's not on the far west coast.

I go to UW-Whitewater now, and really other than what I see over winter break (my hometown being about 30 minutes from the Resch) and the UW and Virginia games, there isn't that many I would really want to drive up for.

I looked again at the schedule link and I was disappointed that St. Francis of Illinois is the home game. The D1 versions of St. Francis are probably RPI killers but I just don't get excited about two non D1 home games.
With that said I will lock in to the 8 pack and have a few extra friends planning to come for UW, UVA and uwm.
I am also locked in for Alaska. Sure I could see some of the games on TV but it is a good reason to take a trip to a state I otherwise might not visit anytime soon.
I will also go to the road games at milwaukee and Chicago St. Side note on the Cougars but I did see former GB walk on Jared Dimakos was on their roster this year.
