I thought he’s still getting a wavier but wsu are confident he will play but it would be great if had to sit a season or half season wouldn’t it. Make someone like Noah Reynolds look like a real star in the horizon league with no holden. Those rankings are a joke.

The rankings are not that surprising with a new coach and last year's performance. I am cautiously optimistic for a middle of the pack finish and at least scare someone in the tournament.

That seems fair. RMU, UDM and IUPUI don't have much on paper. Even Oakland doesn't look that good on paper. I won't be surprised when GB exceeds the 10th place prediction.

It is kind of tough having Will eames and cc and Ryan Wade to have them graduate. You have Bennet baisch coming in. I guess maybe rich and amari and Jacob are the bigs of the now and future. The elite camp looked like it was effective.

A vast majority of preseason rankings have been released. It seems most of the data driven polls don't like GB much. Though many use the recent past as a factor so that doesn't help.
It seems the polls with a human element are more favorable based on positive impression of Coach Wicks. Though most of those still have GB in the bottom tier of the league and just progressing from trash to run of the mill bad.
What about those who post here, anyone want to put out their predictions?

I would say 8-10 wins. I think the key to this year is not the number of wins, but how the team grows and competes. They grew little last year and rarely competed.

Lets see how the St Norbert game goes, if similiar to last year expect say 4 or 5 wins at best. If a decent performance then the 8ish wins might be doable.

There seems to be a boost in talent and experience that was very much needed. The feeling and vibe around the team appears to be very different then the last few years. Adding a guy like Rahmon Fletcher is a bigger factor I feel. Someone who was here and had alot of high level overseas success can only be a positive for the coaches and players. I'm in the 8 to 10 win range right now. But I would love to be about 5 wins off.....

12-14 wins is not unreasonable.

12-14 wins is not unreasonable. They haven't played a game yet so it is hard to project what the win potential is. I suspect the collective web board felt that there was alot of wins to be had last season and it didn't turn out that way.

What was missing from the team the past few years has definitely been addressed now. I expect the team to be able to overcome things that some recent teams didn't.
I think the roster overall has more potential as well. Noah Reynolds is a guy that can produce at a high level.
I won't be using the SNC game as a barometer. Two years ago GB won by 30 and looked good doing it. They only won 5 games that season. Last year the game was played how SNC wanted to play and GB only won 3 games. The only thing that would make me sound the alarm on this season is losing to SNC, anything else I will just consider another layer in the foundation.
