Uwgb landed juco guard davin zeigler. Was a bowling green before that. That would be great. What is your source for the commitment I'm not seeing much on line.

Zeigler is an interesting prospect. He has outstanding athleticism and good experience. His college/JUCO stats are not overly impressive compared to his high school career. I'm wondering if he needed a few years to mature or was he a bad fit for his first D1 go around. Indian Hills is an outstanding program and he started to show some interesting development at that stop. If he connects well with the Nix coaches the team will have an athletic player who can play multiple positions and be a defensive stopper.

At this stage I think GB is fortunate to get a player like Zeigler.
He has good length and is an explosive athlete. He has a good shot and can create both for himself and others.
He was on a loaded Juco team that pretty much shares the wealth so nobody on that team has eye popping stats. Because of that sharing he was playing with the ball in his hands as well as off the ball. So in theory he and Blake can play together or separately and be fine.
Overall GB has improved it's length and athletic ability at many spots on this roster.
Welcome to GB Davin! I think us fans are going to be pleased when he gets on the court.

Looks like a solid player. Is He a PG or SG?
Where do we go from here? Another big for sure. Then bank 2 scholarships ?

Bank 2 scholarships why? That doesn’t leave uwgb with a lot of players. And they lost good players compared to last offseason those guys were not as good Terrance Thompson, Collin Schafer, Damontae Taylor. People want uwgb to win now that’s not a bad idea but you never know what will happen in the offseason and in recruiting.

I suggest one more big and one more shooting guard. I would suggest two more walk ons. I would leave a scholarship open so that they can go full speed ahead and sign Lorenz without any distraction to the current players or him wondering if the spot would actually open. Yes we know in the spring of 2023 guys will move on, only 10 schools didn't have a player in the portal this spring. I'm thinking 12 scholarship guys and 3 walk on players is plenty to make it through the season if it helps build for the future without derailing the present.
Donaldson or Rose. Heffner or Landers. Call it an off season and start getting these guys ready to win some dang games.

Looks like a very talented player. If banking a scholarship helps land Lorenz it may be worth it. We have to start retaining players, Green Bay under Ryan is dependent on developing players.
I actually think that the transferring of players nationwide will start to settle down as players with the additional year from covid use up their eligibility.

Looks like a solid player. Is He a PG or SG? Where do we go from here? Another big for sure. Then bank 2 scholarships ? According to his JUCO coach he is a point guard but he can play the other guard spots as well. With the constant roster churn I don't think banking a scholarship is necessary. Go and get 3 more Division I caliber guys, this team needs as much of a talent infusion as it can get. Definitely need 1 more big guy and 1 more shooting guard.

No need to bank scholarships. A few of our players should be on track to graduate.
