The first place team in the Horizon league will be coming to Green Bay.
Jalen Moore leads the nation in assists and Jamal Cain (Marquette transfer) almost averages a double double.
Against Milwaukee last night, Oakland only played 6 guys (technically 7 guys but one of those 7 only played 2 minutes)
Since this game is at the Kress it’s a complete toss up. Never know what’s going to happen there. Another very winnable game IMO.
After every win this year we have gotten smoked in our next game. Let’s hope this changes tomorrow
Go Green Bay!

Milwaukee had a chance to play Oakland once before beating them on Thursday. That probably gave them a comfort level against the zone and they proceeded to shoot lights out.
GB hasn't seen OU yet, I will be curious to see how GB handles the zone.
Oakland doesn't go very deep so I'm curious to see how the tempo impacts that lack of depth. On one hand they won't be running up and down end to end. On the other hand they are going to have to defend GB for 25 seconds everytime.
Townsend has caused some matchup issues this year. I think Cade and Kellogg are guys that should be able to stay with him while not getting bullied.
Let's go!

This game has turned on its head. 25-7 run by Oakland. Why no time outs by Green Bay?
We look absolutely lost right now offensively.

Our offensive is so high school!

The pressure was a lot. Our youth showed, probably the first time some of our guys have seen that before especially with the speed and athleticism.
Yes it’s disappointing we lost but they are definitely going to learn from this.

I'm not sure how to feel. The score was close but the game didn't feel as close as the final score.
Guys really panicked at times against the zone. They just had a lot of turnovers that they will cringe at when they see the tape.
As bad as the turnovers were, the rebounding disadvantage was worse. I get that Cain is a special player and next level athlete but some of it was just him wanting it more. GB's best athlete recorded zero rebounds.
Lessons learned I'm sure but just a frustrating game for the Phoenix. If they get a chance to play these guys again I would like to see a much cleaner game.

Cain and Townsend really took it to us and we had no answer for them. Other than those 2 guys, the rest of their team only had 5 made field goals. They shot 27 of 30 from the FT line!
Our offense really got out of sorts with their pressure near the timeline and the way that Price guy pressured our point man seemed really disruptive for us.
