I was planning on going to this game a month ago but I cannot in good conscience attend anymore games until linc is fired. I’ll be forever grateful for him leading the team to the ncaa tournament but he completely lied about the style of play his teams bring to the table. There is no relentless pressure for 40 mins much less ten. I will continue to follow this team from home but I’m done spending another dime on this program until a change is made. When you can’t even beat a pathetic iupui team at home that’s where I draw the line. They are less competitive this year than last with a much more talented team. This team has taken a complete shit since conference play started and linc does nothing to fix it. Reminds me of Mike McCarthy: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Same old bitter guy! Hey Max Goldman (Walter Matthau), "Why don't you pull you lip over your head and swallow" Not sure what vendetta you have against this program! BTW what place is your boy Wardle in at Bradley? I think GB will survive without your dime!

I attended the game and the Krash the Kress pregame rally- Free for the students and for only $10 for the public it is worth it. Really have to commend the university for this- Hopefully they can keep having this be an annual thing on campus with Milwaukee. It is enough of a draw to pull some strings to have the Milwaukee home game be while the students are on campus.
Can they please stop doing the stand and clap stunt before GB scores!! I am all for standing but having people clapping during your own teams FTs is weird.

Was great to see them take control of a game from start to finish. Wasn’t perfect, but it was definitely the best conference game they’ve played so far. If they play like this, they can compete with anyone in the league. For anyone who attended the game, how did the atmosphere compare to a game at the Resch? Great game in many aspects! The people in the stands around me couldn't stop raving about the atmosphere, but they were curious and did raise a few eyebrows at some things. Lots of things to applaud, but wanted to especially take notice to local product Cody Schwartz, nice game big fella! As for the atmosphere at the Resch. New Announcer!!!!!!! Awesome!! National Anthem!! Awesome!! Pulaski Band & Half Time!! Awesome!! Overall Atmosphere. Two thumbs up! The booster/people around me, & my daughter!! Two Thumps up! Now for the few questions that boosters/people in the stands noticed! 1. The live stats link on the website under the pregame article??? Was not available or an option?? In fact, just check to make sure the link wasn't up, and its not! 2. The guy next to me was gonna listen to the live radio broadcast with ear buds, no link available online either for that?? Had to go online and search for their website to listen. Don't they support UWGB?? 3. Does AD Guthrie ever watch the game? He is on his phone the whole time! Some people did take notice to that!!

That is weird, I didn't see any IUPUI posts today after they lost on this board or any other boards that have smack talked IUPUI.
YSU has 10 total conference wins since IUPUI joined the HL. Three of those wins are are against IUPUI. To Panther's point it can be about matchups.
I have fully accepted GB isn't beating them in 3 weeks but IUPUI needs to do a little more than win one game before anyone comes running their mouth.
I have two numbers that are ineresting, 1169 and 1112. That is the number of people who came out to see the home games against NKU and WSU respectively. The two top teams in the league and geopgraphic closest rivals on a Friday night and Sunday afternoon. That is sad and any IUPUI fan coming around stirring stuff up should go back under their lonely rock.
As for the UWM game the first half in particular looked good to me. You had GB converting turnovers into easy points. You had GB competing on defense and the glass. Overall you had a very aggressive and well played game from Tank, Josh and Cody. They covered for an off scoring game for Kam and JayQuan. The depth paid off. If only they could bottle this up.
I am very curious to see how Josh does on defense against Appleby, Justice and Davis amongst others going forward. His length and quickness could be a factor.
I am happy 3700 people showed up but without some big wins moving forward I fear it is going to be another down year at the gate. The last 4 games are against some of the top teams and should draw 3000+ people.

It’s okay to make a post on this thread when you are questioning a person’s knowledge about a team when the person says the particular team is “pathetic”. It just seemed they didn’t know what they were talking about to call a team (IUPUI) “pathetic” when the team is one of the top teams in the conference and has knocked off some good teams so far this year. (Boston College at BC and against Northern Kentucky). IUPUI has also lost to some teams we wish we hadn’t lost to - like Youngstown State - as you said.
It was a tough loss today to a good Wright State team. I didn’t post anything about that loss on the Green Bay Phan Phorum because it didn’t seem like an appropriate thing to do. It’s fine for Green Bay fans to be annoyed by IUPUI. It’s great to have as many good rivalries in this league as possible.
By the way, I am an IU Bloomington grad. My freshman year (1981) IU won its fourth NCAA championship. In 1987 I was in New Orleans to see IU win it’s 5th NCAA basketball championship. I am a fan of the Big 10 and other Indiana schools in general. I’ve become a big Butler fan in particular, after living in Indy now for 34 years.
Anyway - no big deal. I guess if someone from a UWGB fan forum wants to call IUPUI’s men’s basketball team “pathetic” this year - that’s okay. I’m sure it’ll be another good game when the Jags and Phoenix play again in a few weeks.
