7pm on 12/29/18
I read that they have a $3 beer promo going on so that could make this Saturday night tilt a lot more interesting.
I thought GB was a lot better than Milwaukee in the preseason but 6-7 vs. 5-8 doesn't feel that way. Lets get a good start to conference play!

I was doing some research and I believe that JayQuan McCloud is the first player to play for both UWM and UWGB, at least since 1975 and possibly ever.
There is a guy who played for GB in 1974 named Earnald DeShazer and the UWM media guide has a player named Earnell DeShazen in 1975, so I am not sure if that's the same guy with a typo or if those are two different guys.
I thought that was kind of interesting.
Anyway, this is a massively important game. Need to start off conference play on the right foot and forget about the disappointing finish to the non-conference season.
I am hoping to be in attendance for this one and always enjoy seeing other GB fans at the game and at the bars before and after.

Will be there as well! I’ve seen 1 GB win vs 2 UWM wins in my time attending games in Milwaukee. Time to even the series!

Green Bay wins! Started off terrible but turned it around! Sandy Cohen redeemed himself for a terrible game in Milwaukee last year.

Good comeback win after a terrible start to the game. Uwm is garbage and this should have been a lot easier than it was but this team winning on the road is like pulling teeth. They should easily start 3-0 now in conference with the next two games at home against garbage teams but we all know this team can have letdown games.
If Espn is correct there was only about 1600 people there. For a rivalry game on a Saturday night that is absolutely pathetic regardless if there was a bucks game shortly before that or not. I thought gb was having attendance problems but uwm is in bigger trouble. I wonder how many of those were gb fans as well.
I am also unsure of what the fetish is with UIC this year but I noticed they were on ESPN2 yesterday on EspnU next Friday and FSN Wisconsin against UWM. I don’t care if they are from the Chicago market; nobody gives two shits about that program. GB will probably be done with TV games now after a nice 3 of 4 stretch, unless they surprise some people and possibly get flexed into a game. At this point I think a top 3 finish is a must for me not to get worried about Linc. This conference is garbage and Wright St losing to UIC at home proves that.

GB started ice cold and MKE red hot. In the end GB started to wear them down with the tempo, started making 3's and then buried them at the free throw line.
Any win on the road is a good win. Let's get to 3-0 in league play!
That crowd size was weak and GB did have a decent number of fans there. Apathy has set in for Milwaukee.

IMO: Attendance for this game may have been better if it wasn’t college football playofffs, Xmas break, students gone and not the very first conference game of the year.
Interesting stat shown last night was GB,s non conference opponents have a total record of 40-7 at home. GB played hardest non-conference schedule.
The league isn’t as strong as it has been(depending on who u talk/listen to) but no team IMO: is “a sure thing” or “garbage”.
It’s not the start but the finish....... Great WIN GB!

Any win over Milwaukee is satisfying. I think the league is better than many people give it credit for. There are a lot of good young coaches. Now that we have beaten Milwaukee, I will be cheering for them often.

I was there, and it seemed like GB fans almost outnumbered UWM...that place was a ghost town. Good win, overall. These slow starts will inevitably doom us, but I never felt like we were going to lose, even when we started out down 14-2. Good to see TJ get some solid minutes as well. On to the next, go 'Nix!
