It’s finally game day! Not thrilled it’s at 1130 but need to hang at least 100 on these guys.

113-52 is my prediction. This isn't Michigan Tech and our pressure, size and athleticism will take over. Too many guys vying for rotation minutes to let up on anyone.

I believe Will Chevalier is on the bench in street clothes, is he redshirting?

It was fun to watch all of the dunks but obviously this wasn't really a good test for the team. I suppose it will give them video to watch which can't hurt. I thought GB bailed themselves out of bad positions a few times with just athletic ability. For the most part that advantage will stop beginning on Friday.
What stood out in this game was the team being back to RP40. They did really run into a lot of easy buckets. The team scored in the half court but certainly not as much and not as easily as they did with turning defense into offense. The trapping on the wing with the half court defense created a lot of problems for WLC.
I agree with everyone else that Will sitting out this year is a good thing. I like his potential and he will be more valuable in year 5 than year 2.
I thought it was interesting that WLC used #33 to bring the ball up a few times. He was being guarded by Cody and Manny mostly. I don't know if other teams will have a "big" bring the ball up as well but he was the only guy who could get the ball over half court without it being a problem every time.

My main takeaways from this one are:
- Jevon and Tank are the real deal. We obviously played inferior competition, but they are always around the rim and fight for everything - The athleticism on this team is unlike anything we have seen in the RP40 era, Linc finally has a team to fit his system - Sandy looks like he is out for blood, definite HLPOY candidate - Nicknames will certainly help me keep track of everyone...CB referred to McNair as "McAIR," and I like it, fits his style of play - Give me more TJ than Crist - Didn't look at the numbers too closely, but the free-throw shooting wasn't up to par from what I saw, hope that is just early season jitters - Lots of sloppy turnovers, comes with the territory when you run a frenetic system - Lots of unnecessary fouls, see above - Hopefully Cody can get it together, I know he is supposed to be good, but he looked like he should have been playing for WLC yesterday. - The league is wide open, we can win this thing
