Ohio beat Kentucky in the border All-Star game 112-108 as 6'4" Amari Davis scored 28 and was named Ohio MVP. In this game were Mr. Basketballs from both states and players who have signed with at least the following colleges: Louisville, Western Kentucky, 2 for Xavier, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Texas A & M (change from Virginia Tech), Wright State, Kent State, Miami of Ohio. Amari's Trotwood Madison team won the Ohio Division II state championship and he was Division II Player of the Year averaging almost 30 ppg.
