The Oregon game should be interesting. Freshman Bol Bol, is 7-3 with a wingspan of 8 feet. He was the number 2 ranked player in the high school class of 2018. You may remember his dad who played in the NBA. I knew there was a reason I moved to Eugene -- just so I could walk down the street and see this game. ;-)

For as long as I can remember Tulsa has been on various boards talking about GB. I think it is great that Tulsa gets a "home game" in Eugene...enjoy it!
I know Mark King is leaving Adidas but I wonder if he will still be out in Portland in November to check out GB in action.
Oregon has a young and long team from what I can see. This will be a tough matchup. I personally am happy that they will play Oregon instead of having to go coast to coast for this tournament. Getting a regional game in Iowa and then 3 games out west on the same trip seems pretty solid to me.

If I recall correctly father Minut Bol was at Cleveland State for a short time Yes as a 35 year old kid... They faked his passport and didn't know how old he really was. 30 for 30 mentioned he could have been 50 + when he retired. Lol...

A regular season game with Stout...yuck. I know where I won't be on 12/11/18. This better be the only non D1 home game.
I've heard that Guthrie and Darner want to play more road buy games this year so if that happens and they don't use some of that money for a better home schedule I will be disappointed.

I'm fine with scheduling ONE non-D1 game, but UW-Stout?? They were last in the WIAC last season. If we're playing a D3 team can it be at least a top 25 team. At least play UWSP, UWP, or UWO?? Why aren't we at least trying to get D2 opponents? [insert sarcasm here] With 3 games left to schedule, what other regular season scrimmages with D3 programs can we get? How about we play Lawrence U, Lakeland U, and Findlandia College? I understand the challenges of scheduling for mid-major programs, but bottom of the barrel D3 or NAIA programs?

What is a bit alarming is that both road games at Michigan State and Evansville take place on weekends that the Packers are away from GB. Might be looking at more mid week home NC games.

If the Resch Center requires 15 home games it would seem we are looking at: 1 preseason game 9 conference games 1 More home game TBA Stout Indiana State Northern Illinois Belmont
I would be very surprised if that last home game is against a D1 team.
This would leave two remaining two games on the road. I am very sure at least one is going to be a power conference buy game and I wouldn't be surprised if both remaining road games were buy games.

In the alumni magazine there was a reminder on the inside back cover for the Krash the Kress event this season. It indicated the event would be in January and will be either a men's or women's game depending on the schedule. I am not sure what that means for the rest of the GB schedule but it certainly appears like at least one game might be on campus this year.

Today would be the last day that "early next week" would apply- should have a NC schedule soon Hoping for another D1 team to fill out the home schedule and a couple of decent mid major road teams that will come back to GB next year.
