He looks like an interesting player for Darner's style. Of more interest to me is that he plays a spot where the team already has players for next year. With McCloud in the mix and a need for a big guy I can't imagine he would be recruited unless they don't think some guys are coming back. The same goes for Marlon Ruffin, talking to more guards when you need a big is hard to wrap my head around.

Not to mention that one of the scholarships *could* potentially go to Simeon Parker since he's redshirting (Unless I'm missing something, but why would a walk-on redshirt unless he had a possibility at earning a scholarship?)......I just don't get it. Clearly going 6-8 at our tallest hasn't worked. This kid looks like a hell of a prospect and I wouldn't oppose bringing him on, but we absolutely must get a big at some point

Very common the walk ons redshirt at Wisconsin. Will Parker stay all five years? I would guess no. At some point he will probably find a place to play that fits his skill level.

Is Parker still around? I haven't seen him on the bench at the last few home games.
Separate of any needs I think the team has, Fredericks looks like a legit D1 player. Good range on his shot and really long at 6'6". Plus he doesn't look slow/lack explosion. He seems like the kind of player Phoenix fans would be happy to have.
Motlow CC usually has good teams as well so if he can play there, D1 should be a fit for him.

Can cross Fredericks off the list- not surprising with all the other offers he had
