I don't know how to confirm this but my guess is GB's wallet is getting any fatter than normal. Those Legends Classic home games probably aren't "free."
Yes is looks like 5 buy games but they probably are not netting significantly more money than last year.
The good news is that the UW, UNM and UCF are games that GB should be able to compete in.
WSU might have a fat record but without help they will be looking like Toledo or NKU of recent years. Plenty of wins but nowhere near the bubble and hence nowhere near a winnable tournament seed should they get that far.

And then there were ten. Cleveland State hired Dennis Gates to be their new coach.
Hopefully, he can retain a few of the existing players because the roster is thin. At this point in time it's going to be a scramble to get a roster full of D1 players.
Hiring a guy with no experience in the head chair and no ties to Ohio does beg the questions, what was the point of blowing it up at this stage and are they actually any further ahead?

First Andrew Luck and now this. Haven't the sports fans in Indianapolis had enough to deal with?
His resignation made the newspaper which is more than some of the IUPUI games can say.
Joking aside, a tough spot for both him and the university to be in. Hopefully they can both straighten things out.

I just finished listening to the podcast.
A few thoughts.
1. I was surprised that LeCrone confirmed that Ft Wayne and Grand Rapids were the other finalists for the conference tournament. 2. Along the same lines changing the court and signage in the Farmer's Coliseum building doesn't make it a neutral site, mind numbing that he would suggest that. 3. Need to move out of LCA was predicated on lack of available dates at LCA. Well they are hosting a tournament for only 2 days in Indy so that seems like BS. 4. Admission that Monday and Tuesday format is for TV and that they don't expect fans to travel well so they are having home games in the first two rounds. 5. Before he downplayed 11 teams as just number, now he is back to banging the drum for a 12 or 14 team league. 6. They are recruiting prospective members while other schools apparently are contacting them. 7. Horizon League members don't have the same resources as high majors so they have to be smarter. No mention on a plan to win more resources. 8. Likes the shift to public regional universities that are doing big things in their regions. I think you can imply future members will fit that profile.

The exhibition games are all hit or miss in terms of TV. Last night IUPUI played and it looks like you can watch the replay on ESPN3. They beat D2 Tiffin 81-77.

Interesting fact, watched this game and Tiffin Coach was a Linc assistant when he was in Florida. He ran a similar system and lost by only 4 points. They pushed and picked up defense full court but was as skilled or as big as GB...

Wright State board is saying Potter is a pain in the butt to deal with and this might be addition by subtraction.
