I’m most nervous about Bucknell. Come on Linc, don’t let this kid leave the state!

This is disappointing. Darner and his staff seem to be able to regroup and be flexible on the recruiting front. Wardle's staff had the edge on recruiting but Darner and his assistants get the edge with in-game coaching and player development.

I am disappointed as well. All the coaches going back to Kowalczyk seem to have difficulty landing the high level Wisconsin kids. I know that Wardle landed some good players like Love and Fouse but I don't think they had a lot of other division one interest.
Seems like other programs like N. Kentucky, Drake and Belmont are recruiting the area harder than in the past.

I think I am more disappointed about losing Domask because he is a top mid major player from Wisconsin that GB can add to the list of not being able to attain. As a player I think he is very good but I didn’t see the type of player that Linc has been recruiting lately that has coach excited about the roster.
I also think it is fair to say that the writing was on the wall for GB for some time as it related to Domask. He didn’t schedule an official visit and GB had been offering a bunch of other similar size players in this class.
I also think it is fair to say that the staff and administration aren’t worried about if a player is coming directly from a WI high school or not. The new AD seems to fine with a bias towards JUCO players being more ready to win now.
As for where this leaves GB. Right now I would love to see Zxavier Jones and David Skogman commit. For their positions and size, those are guys that I see really thriving in the RP40 world. I have no clue where GB stands with those guys at this time.

With a heavy junior class, this is a perfect time to recruit a development type high school player who could take a redshirt season to come into his own. During the spring and summer of 2019 I'd be happy with a couple of traditional transfer players who would have to sit 2019-20 season.
