This may be out of school to say but right now GB needs an overhaul on the front line. Jespersen, Hurdle, Lowe, Botz, Kanter and Hendo doesn't seem likely to get the job done inside. The skilled guys aren't very tall/thick and the tall/thick guys aren't very good. Look at the impact that Odiase and Fernandez had in the last two games. GB doesn't have anyone close to that on the roster and with no scholarships available seems unlikely to land a guy like that unless some players move on. I can't see GB winning big until they get a really solid big man to anchor the defense and clean up any mistakes.

I don't know that I'd say they need an overhaul of the front line, but I agree that not having a true 5 man might be the biggest weakness going forward. Jesperson seems like kind of an interesting guy to me as he hit around 40% from the 3 point line his senior year of high school at 6'8". He may turn out to be a decent fit for them. That said, we're talking about a guy who averaged just a couple points a game at Pepperdine so I don't expect miracles from him.

Of the guys up front it looks like Botz, Hurdle and Lowe can contribute. None of them are that big so if Kanter and Hendo are not going to be able to contribute or show signs of developing then I think GB needs to get two other guys in their place that have what it takes to play the 5 position. I don't see GB winning at a high level with this mix.
Jesperson strikes me as a bigger Botz, that isn't a bad thing but I certainly don't see him as a center. Hendo, repeat Hendo ate him alive in the Green/White scrimmage. What would the rest of the HL do to him in the post?
