Nice article in this weeks SI about Valpo, titled "Beyond the Horizon." Great picture of Peters attacking the basket against Tiby and the Panthers.

I'm still smarting over Princeton's loss to Harvard a few days ago. They were right back on the pony and got the job done against Dartmouth the next night. Yale closed out so a conference championship is no longer possible; Princeton is locked into second place. Tomorrow's home game against Penn is significant for post season placement. I anticipate the Tigers will get the job done.
Meanwhile, according to the official NCAA RPI source as of 07MAR2016: 37) Notre Dame 38) Princeton 39) Valpo 40) Cincinnati 41) VCU 42) San Diego State 43) Yale 44) Providence
I offer hearty congratulations to Yale. Their achievement in finally making it back to the NCAA tournament after more than half a century is fantastic. Good on y'all! Give 'em hell in the tourney!

The Mid-Major poll is a nice guideline to look at during the season. But at this point of the year, it's pretty meaningless for the most part. I suppose near the top of the poll, you'll get an idea as to who could potentially get an At-Large, but for the most part, if you haven't won your conference tourney you are going to be on the outside looking in.

Losing by 27 had to have hurt GB in this poll. They should be ahead of several of these other teams.

That, and I think Valpo got kinda shafted. GB should have been ahead of Oakland.
Three Ivies with Columbia sneaking in the back door. Nice to get some prop's. Princeton should be better next year.
