Should I take this to mean Scott visited and isn't committing? I can't imagine having two guards sitting out for a year. I will say that this Mooney looks more promising than his younger brother.

My take is two offers are on the table and there's one space available for this particular slot. Both are solid prospects. It's interesting that we haven't seen any names surface for front court recruits.

I am thinking fouse is moving to start at the four in darner system. If they are not recruiting a post player. Only way I can make sense of it.
Position battles will be interesting. In a three guard set cooper is the athletic scorer. Love has to start. then I'd think s three man battle. Findlay. Small. And interesting is Anthony brown seems to be a very nice passer. Which is needed in a fast paced offense with quick shots. Then Avery brown is the better athlete between the twins.
Also at the five u would have Lowe kanter and kendo. Who ever doesn't win get rotation minutes st the four and five. Then h got botz. Under darners system not sure if he can plsy the guard. More of a stretch four. I think fouse and botz moving to fours in this uptempo offense makes it really in needed to go after a post player this year. Plus I'd rather bank a scholarship or two than to reach on a player

If Mooney signs, I don't see Scott transferring to GB.....We still need a big man or at least a combo forward, and according to the NLI website, teams have until 5/20 to sign. Of course, GB can get a transfer from another school or JC up until the start of classes. I remember during the TK era that Bradon Morris (who originally was at St. Louis before going the JC route) signed with GB a few weeks before the start of classes in 2004 (??). If we can't find a big man, I also agree that Linc should bank the scholarship (assuming that Mooney signs). I can see a Kanter/Lowe two-headed monster at the 5. Hendo is the wild card here; If he finds new life under Linc and can respond to his system, he can be a defensive specialist like Vashil Fernandez was for Valpo. If Kanter has that classic European-style of basketball, maybe he can also play the 4 (as well as the 5). Fouse can play the 3 defensively, but it will depend on who else is on the floor; Most other situations, he's a 4. Botz was never a guard IMO, and unless he gets a little bigger over the summer, he's a stretch-4 offensively. Any weight room work will at least make him serviceable from a defense and rebounding standpoint and will provide depth at the 4 and will help stretch things out for the guards; He's could be a modern version of Logan Vandervelden for those GB fans who were around in the early 90's. Vandervelden was a 6'9" gunslinger who never met a 3-point shot he didn't like, but was an average defender at best, and not a good rebounder. But he did fill a role on those great Bennett teams. www.nationalletter.org/

Apparently UWGB not even a consideration:
