The whole coaching staff has a D2 background. In D2 the recruiting process runs later/longer than D1 so they are used to that. That said I will not be surprised if they come up with another recruitee to cap things off and it could be ANYBODY.
(FSC just had a player sign who I knew nothing about at all. The signing hit verbalcommits.com about ten days after it happened. Very little background to be found on the player, either. What I do know is that he is a legitimate big (6'10" 190) comes from a military school in VA and is variously listed as either PF or C. If he's more like a PF, mobile, can play defense and block shots that could work. I do know he's another enthusiastic signee at FSC. That's excellent!)

A staff with deep D2 roots might be better suited to find the hidden gem on the recruiting trail. I'd agree with Michigan fan that Darner and his assistants have done a solid job of rebuilding a recruiting class that disappeared with the departure of BW and Company.
