Just my opinion but I have watched several FGCU games and I don't think Jamail Jones would have helped much in the GB game. FGCU is so much about their guard play. Comer gets into the lane and then dishes for hoops or kicks for 3's. If neither are open he will take the shot. In the GB game he really didn't get much going. GB made it really hard for him to turn the corner and get into the lane. When he did the defense was still swarming him and forced tough shots. On the season he averages 8 assists and shoots 43% in 29 minutes per game. Against GB he had 5 assists, shot 25% and played 35 minutes. In my opinion GB cut off FGCU at the head which is what makes a guy like Jones less of a factor to me.
