The Phoenix take on the Flames tonight. Make sure sure you check out Brian Dickman's preview on the blog. Here's a primer from Andrew Gavin. If you can't make it to the Resch, the game will also be on Time Warner Sports 32.

GB is a 13 point favorite and has won 11 of the past 15 against UIC. The Flames have also lost 15 straight true road games. Plus they just arent very good.
This is a must win game and I think the Nix will get it done

I was hoping for an easy win for GB but it doesn't look this team is going to have anything come easy to them. I can understand the 3 point shooting issues but from the free throw line this game was an adventure and it nearly cost them the win.
Plus for a GB team that is supposed to defend and rebound they really didn't do either. I think they won this game on talent.
Nice offensive game from Kam Cerroni. Despite two steals on defense I think he gave up just as many as he scored.
I thought Armstead played a nice all around game, I was surprised he didn't earn more minutes. Plus he really extends his defense, I would have liked to see him guard Barnes in the second half to see if they could deny him the ball more.
I think Terry Johnson was a calming influence for GB. He is confident on offense and I still think he has earned more minutes than Sykes.
Jarvis gave them some good moments, good to see him sticking with it.
Not sure how it would have worked but I would be interested to see how a Johnson, Cerroni, Armstead, Brown plus any other big guy lineup would have performed. Aside from Alec clanging a bunch of jumpers I thought those 4 guys easily played the best in this game.

Not the margin of victory I wanted, but a fun game to watch. It looked like it was headed for a blowout before Danial Barnes went unconscious. Here's Rob Demovsky's game story.box scoreAndrew Gavin's game story. I had the pleasure of watching the game sitting next to Gavin's father and brother. Great guys. Rob Demovsky with some in depth analysis of the final play in his blog
