I really hope I'm wrong, but I doubt he'll be able to play again this season. It's such a shame how this season has gotten off to a start like this. Hopefully once January comes around the guys will be focused and ready for Horizon League play

Hopefully once January comes around the guys will be focused and ready for Horizon League play I have no idea what Cougill may have done, but based upon quotes from the coach, it sounds to me like there is an opportunity for his return. Was he on the bench at the last game? It would be a shame for him to miss his senior season.

this means we'll be playing with a roster with no seniors, and all players with playing time right now could return next year. would be interesting to see if they can build for next year. improvement and confidence will be the most important thing on this team.

It is my understanding Cougill has been dismissed from the team.
We need bodies.

It is my understanding Cougill has been dismissed from the team. We need bodies. I am wondering if this will be officially confirmed. He was not on the bench last night and Keifer made a comment about BC in the press conference that was brief yet sounded like BC was a thing of the past. That is too bad. He seemed like a good guy and like a guy who cared. He was a fun player to have, maybe not my favorite because he did some stuff that drove me nuts but he could do enough to make him interesting to watch.

BC is not coming back. His actions did not shed a positive light on the University or the program.
I give BW credit for the way he handled this matter. I would have personally driven the former player back to Iowa.

I am not doubting he is done. I am just surprised because on Saturday it sounded like he had a chance to come back and 4 days later he is gone. It makes me wonder what changed?

Rob tells us that Coogs is still part of the program and remains suspended. I'm still in the camp that it will be a pretty big surprise if he plays again this year, just from what I've heard

Article in today's Press Gazette by Rob D. saying BC probably wont be back Sunday but most likely has a chance to play the 1st game in 2013?

I don't know if I am more shocked, or, disappointed?

What Cougill did has been done by so many students before him, and he's already paid a much higher price for his actions than a regular student would. If Wardle believes Cougs has earned his way back on the squad, than that's enough for me.

What did BC do to warrant the suspension and the door being subsequently left open for his return? Was it some kind of academic cheating situation? Did he get into an altercation at a bar? Was it petty theft?
Good to see him and Dan Turner back, and with Cole Stefan becoming eligible, we have depth again. Hope BW keeps the same starting lineup we've had since the MU game. That seemed to work with the dialed-back defensive philosophy of mixing in the 1-2-2 zone with a standard man to man without overpaying the lanes.
