The 'Nix travel to Madison tonight to take on the Badgers. 8:00 tip time on BTN with former Badger hooper Mike Kelley being one of the analysts. UW is favored by a whopping 18 points
GB scored a season low 42 points in Madison last year, shooting 2-12 from three and only 4-5 from the free throw line
Hopefully we can hang around and make things interesting. Don't forget Wisconsin comes to Green Bay next season

I'm excited to watch the PG battle tonight. George Marshall was much higher rated and more hyped in the Chicago HS scene than Keifer Sykes. I think Sykes will prove to be the better player tonight.
I'm concerned about the interior defense. With Alec not himself GB has no shot-blocking presence. I'm very concerned for big Al. I fear his issues are more serious than we're being told. I hope he can get things worked out, as he's a really good young man. I hope he can find a way to start having fun playing basketball again.
A competitive performance would really set the stage for the Badgers visit to Green Bay next year. I'm hope GB can at least provide an interesting game tonight. They'll need to defend the 3 point line better than they have so far this year to do that.

The other interesting match-up tonight will be the freshman SFs, Sam Dekker and Jordan Fouse.

Nix played very well in the 1st half until Wardle sat Sykes way too long with just 2 fouls. Brown continues to be unproductive, hopefully we see more of Mays and Arenz in the 2nd half.

The 2011-2012 version of Alec Brown would really, really, really help this team

The 2011-2012 version of Alec Brown would really, really, really help this team No doubt. That was a very good player. This version is dreadful. The Nix were -17 with Brown on the floor in the 2nd half tonight, and +6 without him. They lose by 11, and leave you wondering "what if". At some point, Wardle will need to have some accountibity with his big man. His lethargic play is squashing a quality team.

Alec wasn't very good but it looked like he was playing harder and tougher. BC is the guy who drives me nuts right now. He seems to have more break downs on defense and when he chucking shots I am not sure what he is bringing to the team.
Once again Keifer looked like the only guy who could do something to put the ball in the basket.
I noticed that Bross, Humphrey and Turner were all on the bench but not Stefan. Any reason?
Need to win 3 of the next 4.

I would assume that since Stefan is not eligible yet he is not allowed to travel with the team. Very interested to see what he'll bring to the table, though; especially with Cerroni's struggles.

We moved into the top 300 of the RPI, with a ranking of 297 after the loss @ Wisconsin. Maybe we will move up the next 2 games, even if we happen to lose them.

Need to win 3 of the next 4. BC was beat a few times on D, but it happened when teammates failed to help the helper. It was Brown a few times not rotating over, which resulted in dunks. BC had 12 boards in this game, he was a huge contributor. He has proven over his career he is a very good 3 point shooter, he should keep gunning from long range. I like him shooting 3s a lot better than Brown shooting low % 17 footers.
