Nix have a tough one tonight. ND St. is 3-1 with the only loss at the hands of Indiana. Nix will have to play their best game of the season to walk away from the Resch with a win tonight, and will have to do it dressing just 9 players. It would be a good time for Wardle's team to start playing to the level their capable of, and to hit some 3 point shots. Green Bay hosts red-hot NDSU Saturday night

Nice win for the Phoenix! It sure makes a difference when the threes are falling. I thought Ceronni coming off the bench may have helped the teams overall defence and I thought he provided a spark.
Kading would have looked good in a Phoenix uniform.

Sultan's deep three from the top of the key will show up on every scouting report for the rest of the season. Cerroni's seems to be getting his shot off a lot quicker these days.

Outstanding win. This is the team we thought they'd be. To me the big news was how they defended, including contesting shots at the 3-point line. Jordan Fouse did an outstanding job on NDSU stud Taylor Braun. They held a very efficient NDSU team to 40% shooting.
Wardle took the kid gloves off, shook up the starting lineup, and shazzam, they finally started the game with energy. Muhammad gives them more defensive quickness, which they really needed. Coming off the bench will let Cerroni use his cerebral approach to pick his spots both finding 3-point openings and to pick up tendencies so he can slip in and take charges. Fouse played some minutes at the 4 spot for the 1st time, where he gives them extra defensive quickness.
Great ball movement, with 20 assists in the game.
An absolute relief to see the team play like the team we knew they'd be.

Saw Lowe and Botz both attended the game together and seemed to enjoy it. Remember NDSU just got done with wins over Youngstown State, Duquesne, and James Madison.

GB did the things they are expected to do and it led to a pretty comfortable win. NDSU I am sure is feeling the same tired feeling GB had out west at the end. Play this game in a few days and maybe it is a different story.
Either way, it is a good win and looking like a better overall win given how much better NDSU is than I was expecting.
I did like Cerroni off the bench. He played well in that role. I liked that Sykes was back to his usual self. As much as I like C Love I was pleased to not see him in combination with Sykes much if at all. Credit to Sultan and Cam for not forcing Wardle to the bench. Jordan was very solid all around, big impact without scoring. I would still like to see Alec get on the glass, block some shots and take post shots he can actually make. Given that he will be getting more minutes over the next 6 weeks I would like to see Arenz get a little more comfortable and make a statistical contribution. He certainly doesn't force anything which is good, now it is time to start making progress.
