Look maybe I get this wrong and no one will transfer. Some people have said Noah reynolds will transfer I don’t believe that his brother being a assiantant coach and his family in grandma in Green Bay. Walk ons dutro and Blanton are candidates and antshak I think could.

Elijah jones has. Really sad. I have wondered why since only Ryan Wade, cc, and will scholarship players were graduating why already be looking at so many player now 3 scholarship I think probably open. Jedkins now takes on the athletic defender but Dillon from Winona state coach Malviks former school would be a good shooter. Amar augilard would be a good athletic cc replacement. Need some guys around Noah. Or as coach wicks dudes in the front court the serbian milos I like dropped 19 in a exhibition game against north western.

I don’t quite get Jones leaving unless Wicks told him to. He isn’t going to field offers from anyone better than GB. You’d think these guys would learn by now but they don’t.
None of the transfers who left GB the last few years have found success other than McGee and Ivory. And I include Trevor Anderson in that. He was a bum for the Badgers.

I was a manager for Trevor Anderson at uwgb his dream was to be a badger. I didn’t agree with him burning the uwgb flag. But I don’t think he’s a bad guy. His freshman year at uwgb he averaged 12 ppg. He played with the hauser brothers in high school was talented. Uwgb is looking at a lot guys it didn’t make sense now it makes sense to me. Older guys. There are guys from Wisconsin in the portal now who knows if there looking at Braylon blue. There are looking at tyran cook but so are 50 other d1 schools.

On the court it hurts to lose Jones, he made a solid contribution.
I would suspect that without a bigger platform his basketball career ends in a year. I can't really blame him for trying to find a spot that he can put up more numbers or get some NIL money now. He has one year left to put himself in the best possible spot.
Thanks for a memorable season and good luck in your last season of college basketball!

Guys always think they will be the guy who can play up. To the previous comment when will they learn? Never is the most likely answer.
I see a guy like Amari Davis aim too high and he ended up back with Coach Darner in D2.
I see a guy like PJ Pipes move up a level but not too high. He parlayed that into a pro career with his steady production and the connections he made.
If more guys do leave I really hope they go to the appropriate level of basketball for their skill and size.

Pj pipes was on a veg good Santa Clara team he was trying to make the ncca tournament as a manager he was my friend he’s the nicest guy in have ever met. He made the nit not bad. Amari Davis went to Missouri then wright state the guard room was full so he moved on. Watching Bennet baisch with stitches in his lip guarding a very good Nolan minasle last night was impressive. Getting a Jayden stone or a Jaylen counter someone who has good horizon league experience would be good. Amari Jedkins and Noah Reynolds and Mac Wrecke can guard a guy like bj freeman uwgb needs a guy like amar augillard i think to match up with a guy like bj freeman.

So did Clarence Cummings which is weird he went through senior day I thought he had no eligibility? Better not go to Milwaukee him and bj freeman would be tough together really. Horizon league players John Lovelace, counter, stone some good ones uwgb some do some horizon on horizon crime as horizon league roundtable would say.

I thought he was graduating too when he was honored at senior day but I saw he was also listed as a junior. Quite honestly this isn’t as big of a loss as Jones. Cummings played too out of control and made lots of mistakes. It was fine on Wills team because they were so desperate for scoring but on Sunny’s team he was too selfish in my opinion.

That list includes Noah Reynolds hasn’t commented if he’s staying or not if he leaves definitely takes uwgb a step back. Counter would be a good replacement then.

I preferred the days when we did not start with the assumption players were likely to transfer. The players most likely to leave were not happy with their playing time.
The women's team has players who have a year of eligibility left and likely could help a major team but we do not have the same obsession with it.
The NIL money changes everything and likely will hit the women's game as well.
