I heard on WDUZ this afternoon that this was going to be the biggest crowd at the Resch in 4 years. When 3500 was the largest crowd since the late Linc Darner era, that is how far the men’s basketball program had fallen between bad coaching hires and bad ADs.
I think this turnaround has far exceeded our expectations…..at least mine.

I bet Kampe wishes he'd stayed in zone. At least then game was close then. No one can guard Reynolds 1 on 1. Kampe always gonna Kampe.

I watched this entire game on the Austin Straubel runway because my plane had “too much fuel” on it.
What a gritty win that was. Even when they weren’t close to their best in the first half they found a way to stick around and pull away second half like we have seen so many times.
No let down games in the next two please at home. Let’s keep the crowds growing!

Trey Townsend. Todd Townsend. Don't matter. Phoenix by 10! 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ Sunny is the man. To think some were skeptical of this hire. Better get your tickets! 🎟️

I firmly believe that this program in this era of entertainment can still average 3000+ people per game.
I also think that it isn't impossible to imagine 5000+ people at a game on occasion.
It doesn't have to be what it was to still be awesome. Last night was awesome!
As for the game, the offense capitalized on their opportunity. The defense was there the entire time. That is the mantra of this staff from day one and when they really needed it they delivered.

It was a great game and even greater execution down the stretch by GB. They cooked that Oakland man-to-man at the end. Crowd was loud but size was disappointing. Announced at 3500 but that seems significantly inflated. I'm old enough to remember sellout crowds at the Arena. Those were crowds. Not sure it will ever get back to that. Wish it would but fewer people attend live events these days. Times are different. Aside aside...great win! I thought the attendance seemed more than announced, but I guess there's fewer on the ends with the new setup. The new setup is awesome though. Kampe thought it was more than announced too, he thought there were 8,000 people there last night lol
