Saturday - 2pm - ESPN+ First True Home Game
3-3 coming into Saturday's match-up.
A team that could easily be 6-0 (close losses to Cal, Cal Poly and California Baptist). Or could easily be 1-5 (close wins over Idaho State and Portland State). They have a win over D3 North Central as well.
Looking forward to catching my first game of the season.
#2 - Ben Nau - Junior from Brookfield Central #24 - Raheem Anthony - Graduate Student Transfer from St. Mary's in Minnesota (D3).

Just checked out the new “362” video, got me pumped for another game day. Last year St Thomas obliterated us in a game GB never had a chance in. I definitely don’t see that happening this season, and these are the types of game I fully expect us to win now. St Thomas is a fine team, but they lost to Cal Poly who is ranked right about where GB is, so expecting a competitive game shouldn't be asking too much. And hope there’s a decent crowd at the Resch with no football game this weekend.

The matchup last year, like a lot of games last year, was not competitive, and was embarrassing. Tommies are shooting 39.5% from 3-pointers this year. Line on CBS Sports has us as 5 point underdogs. It will be good to see this as a competitive game, definitely a chance to again feel like we have improved from last year. I so want to beat teams like these guys who are in our region. Game time does conflict with Badgers at Gophers TV football game, so I hope that does not suppress the crowd turnout. It would be great to get a WI versus MN double banger today - we beat St. Thomas, and the Badgers take care of the Goophs in MN.

I wish we were playing this game with the full roster. With CC, this is very winnable. Now GB will have to play their absolute best. Still possible, but it's probably a little too early for this young roster.

GB continues to defend, and are up 10 at the half.
Stay aggressive, grow the lead!

Defense wins games! Green Bay wins by 13. They've already matched last year's win total, and it's still November.
The youngsters are growing up fast. Clean closeout in this one, as freshman hit free throws.

Nice win and a potential aid to recruiting as I see St. T recruits some of the same talent the Nix goes after.

Hell yeah! Another win! I know St Thomas didn’t shoot well, but I think our solid defense was largely responsible for that. Also nice to see GB comfortably win even with a quiet offensive game from Reynolds (though he did have a lot of nice passes).

That was a very impressive effort. For as much as some of the stuff that Sunny does drives me nuts, this was a solid effort by the players and staff.

Huge news. Icing on the cake after a big win, Kyle Malzhan reports the Clarence Cummings eligibility issue has been resolved, and he is returning immediately!

I don't remember the last time GB won a game that never really felt in doubt.
GB was a little shaky against the 2nd half press and #24 for the Tommies was a beast, yet the Phoenix made enough plays to keep a steady lead. As mentioned they didn't fold at the free throw line which we have seen before this season.
Will Eames got a few hoops and has already showed to be an above average rebounder. He is a steady guy to have.
I didn't have Amari Jedkins taking guys off the dribble on my radar, he has been a nice surprise in the front court so far.
No Clarence or Preston, it's fair to say they have played zero games with their best 9 or 10 guys. A tough offensive team in PFW is up next.

I was just perusing RealTime RPI. Green Bay sitting at 248. An obvious improvement from last, but with how rapidly they're improving, I expect to go much higher.
Their next opponent, IPFW, is at 48. Definitely a tall task on the road.
Who's number one? None other than old friend Brian Wardle and his Bradley Braves.

Really nice to avenge a loss from last year. Still early in the year but it is hard to believe how much their rebounding and defense has improved. It will be interesting to see how well Cummings fits in with this offence, there were times last year where it seemed he was trying to do too much. When they can hit a few three-point shots, it makes it much easier to drive to the hoop.

I didn't have Amari Jedkins taking guys off the dribble on my radar, he has been a nice surprise in the front court so far. He's had a bunch of really nice moments so far, especially in this one. The drive from the top all the way for a layup. The spin laser pass from the block to the opposite corner for the Wonders 3. The pivot and pass to a back door cutting Douglass for a layup. Jedkins is a really versatile player. He's super easy to cheer for after he had the stones to go through Wicks tryout and prove he deserved a spot here, despite others suggesting no one had a chance. Tough kid with big upside.
