Jappanh Kellog former uwgb player. Is in the transfer portal. Any chance he would come back with a new coach? Not sure why GB would want him. He was alright. Nothing to prioritize as a player

He’s going to be a senior. But he redshirted for uwgb. He’s like a older version of Amari Jedkins. For a one year rental. Him or a juco player I though he played good defense. In the second season 2021-2022 season.

I don’t think so. I thought only if you transfer from two schools you have two?

I thought it was the second transfer that triggered the need to sit out. I was expecting that whoever he transfers to would be his second transfer. As I recall, he is a good student, maybe he is in a position to graduate with a few credits. We could use his size, but it doesn't look like he has bulked up much.
Maybe someone else can clarify the transfer rule.

In the second season 2021-2022 season. First off he is going D2 where he belongs. Also, if GB even would have shown interest in him Sunny wouldve been on my hot seat already. The man is terrible. Lets turn our attention to actual talent and not all these players that are not good at all.

I know of the players mentioned. I am sure there are others we are looking at too. My point is we need to look higher than people like kellogg. As you just stated he committed to a D2 school. If we continue to get that talent level, we will have the same exact results as we have had. And if thats the type of player we end up having come in I will be the first to be disappointed but i believe sunny will be getting talented players.

Former 3 star player by 247 sports. 4 star player by espn. Wisconsin high school player Danilo Janivoch from the Miami Hurricanes just finished his freshman season transfer. Coach wicks follows him on him twitter. He’s 6’8 215 lbs big man.

Is there a thread for players transferring in? If not, I'll put this here: Several players in the portal with Wisconsin ties have drawn interest from the new staff. Hearing Preston Ruedinger and Max Nelson from Valpo, and Dalton Banks from SIU have all been contacted and appear to be at least willing to listen to Sunny's pictch. Same with Foster Wonders (who's from the UP (Escanaba maybe?) from SIU. Add Eli King from Iowa State to this list. I like seeing guys transferring "down" a notch from high major to mid/low major. On the others, Wonders and Banks have the highest upside, IMO. Is Nelson any better than Cade Meyer? Neither seems like a guy you can win with if he's in a top role.

Nelson is a way better 3 point shooter then Cade Meyer. Which coach wicks is looking for in a big man. Different years meyer sophomore. Nelson freshman. Maximus and Brock would grow together.

He only played two minutes, but without an appeal that's a season of eligibility. Unless he was injured, but I don't believe he was.

I wonder why Jandy wanted to add Eli king to the list he’s from Minnesota? Uwgb has known interest in him?

Eli King would be amazing for GB. That guy is made of the right stuff and his plus size for a HL PG. He can finish above the rim, has good court vision and is a good shooter. If that is the level of transfer that is willing to talk to GB then things are on the up.
Most mid major teams are led by guards and not forwards. In the HL 11 of the 15 all conference players were guards. Cade didn't have great range and really went away from using his driving spin moves in his second year. It definitely hurt Cade that the guard play was down this past year. It gave him less room to work with. With Max being able to space the court he would be a great compliment to guards like Banks, King or Reynolds.
Danilo is another guy with game, he has good range and can play on the perimeter. Getting guys like him would bring me a lot of hope for the present and the future.
