For those with a high threshold for pain and a desire to get out of the house, Green Bay returns to action at 7pm on Saturday night at the Resch. I know there are some question marks on the available adult beverages at the Resch Center but I know they have some. If the team gets blown up you can drink up to forget what happened and Uber home. If the team plays well you can drink up and celebrate before taking an Uber home.
The KC Roos have been all over the board this year. Losing to a non D1 team and giving another D1 team their only D1 win. On the flip side they handed Indiana State their only loss. Their team appears to be young overall but they do have a few guys that have experience and have bounced around D1. One player that we have seen before is RayQuawndis Mitchell, he was on UIC at one point. We have no clue how KC will play. I am optimistic that this is a good chance for GB to win. I realize I am taking a bit of a leap of faith on that view. However, I am thinking that KC is closer to being a rebuilding team that loses to Idaho State than they are a powerhouse that can beat Toledo or Indiana State on a regular basis. I know this much. A loud, engaged and potentially buzzed crowd would go a long way towards making this a W and not an L.

What I hope we do not see is a replica of Packer's defense and their many mistakes - repeated mistakes.

At this point, I’m not even asking for a win. I just want to see a close, competitive, and exciting game. All of GB’s losses this season have not been close. If this were on the road, I’d probably expect another lopsided loss, but they’ve got to find a way to keep this competitive at home on a Saturday night. Still don’t see us getting a win, my guess is 65-61 UMKC, but hope they show some fight in this game.

Likewise I hope they have a respectable showing in this one - it's hard not to take note of that nasty 7-game road trip that starts after this one

The Roos at -6.5 seems like a no-brainer. However, which version of Kansas City shows up tonight? Will it be the Roos that lost to D2 Lincoln and previously winless Idaho State, or the team that beat Toledo and Indiana State? I expect Zae and Cade to have their typical respectable games, but someone else really needs to step up and make some sort of an impact for us to have any shot at winning.

Is it just me or are some if the names from KC's team sound like creations from Key and Peel? If you have a chance, take a peek at the roster

Jenkins is not in the posted starting lineup on the board. Meyer, Short, Cummings, Blake, and Tucker.

We won! And played good! Didn’t know if I’d be able to say that this season, so I’m pretty happy. Maybe just try to limit the offensive rebounds going forward.

Dominant work from Green Bays bigs. GB got the ball to Meyer in the post again and again, and he couldn't be stopped, scoring 25. Heffner with 4 blocks while scoring inside and out. Zae turned it over 8 times, but none down the stretch, and GB hit all of its crunch time free throws. That's winning basketball.
Get the guards to help out on the glass more and this will look pretty good.
