I think there was a lot there. Coach Ryan talks about the offense how he uses golden state offense and the swing everyone knows he uses that. Four out 1 in and five out. I hope the offense ball movement improves somehow even though stieber is gone he will be tough to replace they have guys that will help Jenkins, blake, and Ziegler. But to me stieber was a good ball handler and good passer that it seemed during the interview was one of the players he will miss. The history of coach Ryan is always interesting to me how he talked about buddy hield I don’t know if it was the same year but I saw buddy hield play in the NCAA tournament.

When coach Ryan was asked about players coming back he didn’t mention randy Tucker is possible he transferred or left the team? They seem to have the roster current on the website and he is still listed. He appears to have changed his number as well. I would say Randy needs to hit shots more consistently to be mentioned when previewing the team.

So coach Ryan just forgot to mention randy Tucker on the podcast. It’s weird how you remember Brayden Dailey but not randy Tucker is on your team. I get that he said Brayden will be such a great shooter but yeah it’s not like randy is a bad player he is strong can get rebounds and can shoot.

I am 100% sure he didn't forget that Randy Tucker is on the team.
Randy did some nice things but statistically he was one of the worst three point shooters in the country last season. If you want people to be excited about something you are more likely to talk about what went well or what is new.
I'd love to see Randy have a bounce back year, I'd guess the coaching staff feels the same way. It's fair to say guys like Davis, Zeigler and Rose in particular were recruited in case what we did see is all we will see from Randy.

Ok but in then in the podcast coach Ryan said our core guys coming back nate, cade, and Brayden. I mean you mention Brayden I get that he thinks highly of him but is randy not a core guy?

I'd rather focus on the part of the podcast where Ryan mentioned having 15-16 players on the roster. That suggests multiple walk-ons and perhaps handing out another scholarship. As to the failure to mention Tucker, stuff happens in an interview. I've done thousands of them and I can tell you things will be left out -- most of the time inadvertently.
The other part of the podcast I found interesting was the discussion on players and their ability to take constructive direction. I suspect that was an issue with some of the departed. Ryan certainly has had a unique challenge with the timing of Darner's departure and COVID.
As to starters and playing time -- Meyer, Short, Davis, and Jenkins seem to be safe bets for PT. Heffner and Daily will probably be in the rotation. The JUCO additions outside of Davis are a blank slate at this point for the fanbase. In the best of all worlds that group will include at least two who can play point guard and all of them provide quality perimeter defense.
