Well it looks like Wade got the last scholarship. Not that it really matters but does anyone know this for sure?

It doesn’t matter because Wade only has 2 years of eligibility left?

It doesn’t matter because Wade only has 2 years of eligibility left? No I meant, on scholarship or not I don’t care. He’s a member of the squad and he’s going to contribute. I’m just curious if anyone really knows 100 percent for sure if he’s in scholarship.

With august starting tomorrow. It’s looking less likely like there will be 15-16 players like coach Ryan maybe wanted to able to always to 5 on 5 during the season even though there is a scholarship still available he could fill the roster with a walk on? But again it’s looking less likely adding a scholarship player or a walk on? A interesting thing to me is manny Ansong. A transfer twitter acoount reached out to me a couple of months ago wondering if I had his phone number I think I think there was some mid major interest? He is a grad transfer wonder if he is quitting basketball that would be sad with his talent. Kirhiman could go back to turkey and tutu could back to egypt? To play basketball.

I like the group of guys they have. I see improved length, athletic ability and shooting at most positions. While I would like to see a 15th or 16th player added that doesn't appear to be in the cards at this time.
Not hearing a word about Manny is kind of perfect for Manny. I don't think I ever witnessed him speak during a game.
Cem was definitely lacking in some of the physical areas but he knew how to play. I would imagine there is a scholarship level school (LM, D2 or NAIA) somewhere in the USA that he could play for if he wanted.
One thing that I am starting to realize is that for some guys playing college hoops is the culmination of a lifetime dream but the dream turns out to be different than they were thinking. A lot of guys who enter the portal don't come out but part of that is not wanting to keep playing in college if it isn't an opportunity that they think is perfect.

Was manny probably expecting power 5 interest? I think one of the uncw might of been one of the teams interested in manny I could be wrong. I just think we lost kellog and clafflin and probably manny but if they used the last scholarship and brought manny back if it’s bad relationship? But now it’s like it’s time to finish what he started he’s not a bad player and he’s only got one year left. With his defense is ok. He’s athletic. He just needs to keep work on his jump shot and he will be good.

I doubt it is a bad relationship but I see no reason to ask Manny to come back. He is good at what he does but there are a lot of things he doesn't do that aren't going to get better. He was at his best as an energizer off of the bench and I can't see him wanting to play that role in his 5th and final year of basketball. Plus with Cummings in the mix I think they have a guy who could be similar or better.

I do like Cummings I see your point. I don’t think a lot of Phoenix fans are high on him. I hope Dailey is the great shooter that coach Ryan says he is and that he used the redshirt season to get strong to help fill out his frame. Then you have that wing position with Zane short filled out with the loss of Clafflin filled out who i think is interesting because he was good in the system shot the ball ok played ok defense but with Dailey shooting and Cummings defense you replace clafflin.

Had to be pretty recently because he just went in the transfer portal. According to jake lieberman Wright State, Nichols state, App State, UNC Asheville also has talked to him I’m guessing all since he’s gone in the transfer portal. He went in the transfer portal 4 days ago. He would probably need a waiver to play this year. He might have to redshirt since he transferred after the transfer date that he would be eligible right away.

A 6’8 guard/forward Raymond Adams a d2 transfer is considering uwgb and I uwgb talked to him. I believe he is going to a JUCO in Tennessee. It does not look like GB will be using the last scholarship on a player that isn't currently on the roster.
