Time to move on from Bready and just worry about the guys on the roster IMO.

By all accounts Ryan is a good person/student/teammate to have. From that perspective he seems like a welcome addition.
He is apparently eligible right and has 2 years left to play. Those are also positives.
His stats show a positive assist to turnover ratio. His video shows nice court vision and a good ability to work off the ball into open spaces for a 3 pointer. His stats indicate he was improving shooting but needs a little more development before he would be considered a knock down shooter in games. Based on his size and what video I can find he seems like a combo guard. If he is in fact walking on he is a home run at this time.

What makes you think he walking on and he does not get the last open scholarship?

If going to GB on a scholarship is betting on yourself and doubling down then the perception of the program is far worse than I thought.
Those words would make me think he is taking the opportunity to come here and could be rewarded in the future for doing so.
Otherwise what is he doubling down and betting on, going to a program that is way down and beneath him??
I think he will be a solid player but unless the other new guys aren't as good as expected there would be no reason to hand out the last scholarship to him at this time. Which D1's did GB have to beat out to get him?

I will say this about Wade. Some guys just need to be in the right environment and work themselves into the right opportunity.
With three years of D1 experience he should be able to bring some things to the team. Nate Jenkins and Donovan Ivory did prove previous stats aren't everything. Opportunity and fit are important too. I hope this is the right fit and opportunity for him.
I would like nothing more than Wade or any other guard GB has to be a high level player in this league. If they are, other players are likely succeeding too and the team is probably winning.

Per the scholarship table on the website, looks like Wade is on scholarship.

So uwgb is probably going bank it’s last scholarship? Given the current trend of transfers, why on earth would you bank a scholarship considering how many players left UWGB the past 2 years? It seems reasonable to expect more of the same for all low to mid majors, prove you can play and move up the food chain. I suspect UWGB's problem will be finding players to backfill the transfers. Probably the same for many other similar schools.

Quintez Bolton Jr. was looking for a school from a d1 school instead of walk on offer. From uwgb but quintez is from Wisconsin he’s a 6’6 wing so good size. Looks like his jump shot is nice he’s young like a sophomore this year maybe have time to grow for a walk on that has not bad traits.

Green Bay may be using the last scholarship as a reward for the best walk on, giving them an avenue to attract better caliber walk ons, while creating highly competitive practices.
