One of the coaches follows landers on Twitter. Last year uwgb got three d1 transfers from Wisconsin. One who was a walk on Nate Jenkins. They might not get a d1 transfer or someone from Wisconsin.

With Landers being from WI it gives GB a better chance than if he was California or New York. I could be way off base on the level Landers will end up at but if GB isn't at least trying to get him I will be disappointed. On the court he's a really good fit.
They must be after someone tall. Cem waiting until the last minute to leave tells me he is either a jerk (which I doubt) or he thinks he is getting recruited over.

Logan Landers is going to grand canyon university. My sources were telling me he was leaning towards Phoenix, I guess I forgot about the large city and just assumed they meant GB...

I would love to be wrong but I doubt uwgb is going after Brock Heffner. There not going after Caden Boser. If they do get a big it’s probably a juco big?

While I was kidding about having sources as it related to Landers going to Phoenix/GCU, I can freely admit I don't have any sources when it comes to recruiting. I will still post my thoughts on recruiting Heffner.
I can look at a video and form my opinion on if a guy would be additive to Green Bay or not. If a 6'8" player from a high school less than 100 miles from UWGB that has a decent mix of bulk, foot speed, shooting ability, with some D1 experience and 4 years to play isn't on the recruiting radar then who is? I have a hard time believing on May 12th there are other big men available that would be way better. Perhaps Heffner has other plans, that is fine but not coming to GB shouldn't be related to no interest from GB IMO.

There are X number of scholarship openings at D1 schools and the number of transfers nationwide has been absolutely crazy. As the music stops playing and athletes have to find a place -- decisions will be made. For depth purposes, the Nix look to be in a much better situation than many of us thought they would be. Instead of multiple roster holes, the biggest need is depth in the post position. There are more options out there during this recruiting cycle than ever before. Also, look for two or three walk-ons who want a chance to prove themselves at the division one talent.
Surprisingly, this rebuilt squad has more athleticism and game experience than the 21-22 team. Let's hope the chemistry is also at a higher level.

Claflin got plenty of looks from deep that could go to a player like Boser. It would be easy envision the role he could play. I am confused though, an earlier post indicated GB wasn't in contact with him.

It’s hard to have good chemistry with 9 new scholarship plus a walk on or what ever the final roster is it’s a lot of new players compared to last year. If you thought the chemistry was bad last year. It’s weird that it would be better this year. Brayden Daileys first year playing games he’s kind of a new player in playing game chemistry.
