It has been pretty quiet on the board for a few days I would be happy with any of the three bigs plus Klesmit and his brother the following year.
They did not get any of the players I was hoping for. I guess they will need to find another way to please me. There are still a lot of players available in the transfer portal just not the ones I am most familiar with.
I see that Max Klesmit is now going to visit Madison after not including them in his final four. My thought is that they initially were not interested but now are. I hope that after all this time,Amairi doesn't get recruited over. When this is all done there will be a lot of players without homes.

So with four open spots left GB definitely needs another point guard, another big, and another shooting guard / wing type.
With Kirciman heading out I think a big guy in the portal that could make sense would be Grafton-native Brock Heffner. Might be looking to get back closer to home and still has 4 years to play after redshirting this past season at Hawaii. Plus he will have already used his free transfer so could be a guy that is here for awhile and can develop.
Not sure if there is interest from either party but just an interesting new addition to the portal.
Caleb Donaldson looks like a nice player. He has good size and athletic ability for his size. The highlight video I saw shows a lot of individual scoring skill on a team that is playing faster than GB does. However, looking at his box score you will find a good amount of assists and a good A/TO ratio. He also has improved from the perimeter and has seemed to pick his spots better as well. I was surprised to see a guy with his length didn't accumulate more steals and blocks. He still might be a good defender but those stats were absent. Overall he would be another guy that should be able to contribute to GB in various ways.

I see that Podziemski is going from Illinois to Santa Clara. I believe he was a higher rated prospect than Logan Landers. I would be disappointed if GB isn't trying to recruit Landers. GB needs another big man with range. He looks like a really good fit for a mid major. So many mid majors play with 4 guards. With GB playing with 2 bigs it really is a great opportunity for big guys to come here and get meaningful playing time even if GB already has Meyer and Short.
He's from WI, has the skills to excel at this level and based on where Podz went doesn't seem destined for a high major. It would be a big recruiting statement to get Landers.
