Teammate of Brayden Dailey before Daily transferred to Cuba City.
To Wisconsin as a walk on.
I actually flip flopped this, and caused some confusion. Loewe was teammates with Bennet VanderPlas before transferring to Fon Du Lac, Isaac Lindsay was teammates with Dayley before Dayley transferred. Lindsay is walking on at Wisconsin.
------------------------------------------ "We got beat physically beat mentally beat internally and we're leaving in 20 minutes" Loyola coach Porter Moser to his team after loss to Green Bay Green Bay basketball is back! The Green Bay Way!
In the transfer portal: Valparaiso F Jacob Ognacevic (FR) The pride of Sheboygan.
There are a lot of very talented players in the transfer portal and probably more to come. Some are more realistic than others for Green Bay. Based on what Jacob said he didn't like at Valpo he would find Green Bay to be a good home. His skill set is perfect for GB's style IMO. He would be a fantastic addition to Green Bay and is one of my highest priority transfers.
Jumping ahead with GB playing 2 big guys most of the time, a rotation of Jacob, Meyer, Kellogg and D Short looks mighty tough in the Horizon League!!
I just wonder if he'd wanna go to a system like Green Bay after playing at up-tempo Press Virginia
I can see McCabe doing very well in the Horizon League. I would love to see him in Green Bay.
His role was so reduced at WVU at the end that I won't even bother to look at his stats. He is a very good ball handler so he would bring the ball up the court, pass to the wing and cut through to the far corner. He would pretty much never touch the ball again and if he did it was late in the clock and would be in a tough position to succeed. That scenario would not happen to him at GB.
He was also used at times to ice games as he was a very good foul shooter. That scenario would be repeated at GB.
I thought his defense was way better than in high school, he played hard and would be a tough defender in the HL.
I know much is made of pace but one thing for any guard to think about is GB guards get a lot of opportunities. The three guys they lost averaged 17.2ppg, 14.8ppg and 14.5ppg. They took 912 of the teams 1507 shots and they took 363 of the teams 511 3pt shots. McCabe and any other guard looking to transfer for a bigger role might ask themselves is running around super fast more important than being in a program that wants to get LOTS of quality shots for their guards?
