I’ve mentioned him before but Kyle Ross is a big uwgb is a big in his top 4 would be nice to beat iupui in his home state for him he’s a 3 star prospect can do everything prospect him and Meyer would be a nice front court starting lineup would change losing Amari a little bit to have good young bigs and have 3 scholarships left would be nice.

PJ to Santa Clara. I really don’t get it. They have no chance to make the tourney with Gonzaga in there.
Heard Loyola G Tech V Tech were also interested. If he wanted to go to the big dance I get it. If not then this makes no sense. If you hate it here so much go pro.
GB has a better chance to make the tourney next year than Santa Clara.
I also don’t know why Davis would go to Tulane. Again not much of an upgrade and I don’t see them making the tourney anytime soon either. Hopefully he gets some better offers than that.

The WCC can be a multi bid league, Santa Clara could make the dance by having a great regular season.
PJ said he could get his masters in the one year and not need to stay longer or finish up later. That seemed important to him and that is awesome. A student athlete in men's basketball isn't always easy to find.
PJ said he wanted to play at a faster Tempo. Loyola for example is one of the slowest in the country. Santa Clara is top 100.
Good for PJ finding a fit for himself that makes him happy.
Amari is probably holding out for a higher offer. Those likely wouldn't come until the season is over. Tulane's coach is from Dayton which is probably the connection for that offer.

He did 4 years at GB and gambled on a new coach, new system and 9 freshman and 3 Walk-ons... He's earned the right to do what's good for him. WCC has had up to 3 teams in tourney, Gonzaga, BYU, Saint Mary and Pepperdine Also, it's more than just a school name, you wanna know why there is so many Transfers, it's because kids picking schools on name and schools picking kids on local hype... Also, a Masters from Santa Clara and being in Silicone Valley is not bad either. A school with 3 former players coaching in the NBA and now 2 (with the firing of Atlanta coach) is a good idea also for connections. Also, did I mention one of the top Agents in the NBA is a Santa Clara grad and on the Board of Trustees (Bill Duffy '82) with 20+ NBA Players in his agency. Seems like a good list of possible contacts if playing PRO is a dream. They also include a coaching staff that has coached James Hardin, Russell Westbrook, True Holliday and Patrick Beverly to name a few... And outside of playing against Gonzaga 2 times a year, you playing against other NBA talent more often as Suggs who PJ knows well may be a top 10 pick this year. He betting on PJ and not someone else but opportunities and who you know is never a shortcoming... He can't predict the future but guess what, he didn't predict the past either, he committed and rolled with the punches as he will do now. PS... Did I mention they just opened a 40 Million Dollar Athletic Facility for Athletics and especially Men's Basketball...

Be aware that not every player that enters the portal actually transfers.

TT showed some nice flashes over the year.
His departure will be felt in future years when he should have been a big contributor.
I agree this system is a good fit for him IMO compared to RP40.

I wonder if he was expecting a scholarship.

This stinks. I had high hopes for Thompson in GB I was very happy when he stayed with GB but concerned when his playing time decreased late in the year. I don't know where all these players are going to find homes.

Does anyone have a copy or know of someone who has a copy of the Valpo and Wright State conference tournament games from 2016?

Losing TT does hurt, actually kind of hurts more than losing Amari. TT has great potential and I would agree from above, fits in much better in this system than Linc's.
Kind of thought this could happen though, his minutes dwindled toward the end of the year and his attitude seemed to take a downfall as well.
Best of luck to Terrance in the future.
Now Green Bay hoops has to find a way to get better.

As things stand today, 9 of 16 players on the opening day roster have entered the transfer portal. So far two of them have found new schools for the next phase of their playing careers.
I will be curious to see if any of the remaining players that might have stayed decide to leave now that so much of the team has changed. Japannah Kellogg came on nicely as the season went along, I would love for him to stay. I think Blayton and Donavan ooze talent and the pathway to playing time is wide open for them. Manny and Cem are Will's recruits and seem committed to playing in GB. I am guessing Lucas is going to be on scholarship based on his season and the number of open scholarships. Claflin had some solid minutes, especially for a player that wasn't originally going to play last season. I still see lots of potential as he fills out. These guys would give GB a solid base to build from.
If no other players leave, adding in the 3 high school players and potentially having Lucas on scholarship leaves 4 more scholarships to fill. While this transition definitely feels uncertain as a fan it is important to remember that with uncertainty comes opportunity.

I read the article when Green Bay press article when shafer committed ted it says he got offers from d2,d3, and jucos he would of went to highland community college if it weren’t for coach Ryan he would of been playing juco ball for him might be wanted to try d1 and for most walk one it’s doesn’t it work but it looks bad because he transfers adding to the total maybe he does like coach Ryan just was not going to get a scholarship and be a starter with good minutes.

It looks bad on Coach Ryan that Colin wants to go explore scholarship opportunities? Come on man you are reaching.
