Last regular season weekend of the year.
No band & no screaming kids has left uic scuffling. This is a matchup of GB with 1 road win this year going against UIC with 7 straight losses. Something has to give.
Another thing that is interesting to me. UIC features former Ohio U guard Teyvion Kirk. Kirk is a tough matchup but he can't shoot and likes to turn the ball over a lot. I'm guessing he gave Coach Ryan a few sleepless nights back in the day!

The team who turns the ball over less tonight wins the game I think. Yes I know that is usually how it goes ha!

Fart noise. That about sums up this season.
I look forward to the day when Green Bay is an exciting program again. Haven’t been there for awhile the last few years.
These type of teams are tough to watch. You know they aren’t as bad as their record shows yet you can predict the result most of the time.
When was the last time GB could win consistently on the road? 2015? They’ve been absolutely dreadful there the last 6 years.

That was a difficult game to watch, neither team looked very good.
They got next to no contribution from their big guys.
Ansong needs to start, Thompson only got one minute of playing time and I am not sure Stieber should have been on the court after he rolled his ankle.

Last night was a tough game to watch. UIC was bigger and more athletic at most positions. GB should lose these games by a lot but they seem to execute better than UIC does.
Josh needs to get under control, he took some wild shots.
Same for Amari, he should have had a lot more hoops. Especially off of the turnovers he forced, he missed some fast breaks. That baseline out of bounds play late in the second half gave him a wide open J that he normally drills.
A few times guys pump faked themselves into tough shots.
TT must have done something coach didn't like and sat as a result. He has the size to matchup if he applies himself correctly. Cem battled but when you aren't used to playing it is hard to make an impact
Last night was frustrating because the game was very winnable.
Also, two of those refs should never work a D1 game again. They are trash every game. Seriously where does the league get these guys from? Kellogg got shoved in the back while jumping up for what would have been an easy hoop. UIC foul? Nope. GB, turnover! That just can't happen at this stage in the year, refs should be better than that.

Is Stieber really one of our five best options?

Is Stieber really one of our five best options? Just holding the spot until Kamari McGee gets here next year.

You under-appreciate Stieber. He's a coach on the floor. If he develops a shot in the off-season he'll be that much more valuable. He knows the offense the coaches want to run and plays solid defense. He'll be a good part of the guard rotation for the next years.
