Watching the Perine, Mays and Fletcher videos reminded me of how fun those guys were.
Great list and other than Kanter, I can't think of a big man that can even be considered to more impactful than Cougs.

Great stuff...it puts the helter-skelter play of the team in recent times in perspective. Thanks for putting this together.

Fun trip down memory lane, I always loved Fletcher and Perine. I thought Perine was the difference in the win against Wisconsin. I have searched multiple times for a replay of that win against Wisconsin but have never found the complete game. I guess Wisconsin managed to hide that successfully.

This definitely makes me miss watching Greg Mays. Sykes was the star of those teams, no doubt, but watching Mays go off on both ends of the floor was always a sight to behold. His 30+ point performance against Detroit always comes to mind. I had a buddy who played AAU ball in Chicago against Greg Mays, alongside future NBA players, and he said matching up against Mays, as he played the same position, was always the scariest guy to guard.
