It sounded like you didn’t believe chevalier quit the team but maybe two scholarships is where two scholarships comes from maybe there will be a announcement that he quit the team next week but probably not it weird if he did it’s not a big school but it’s a classy thing to report it but it in a a article or hopefully the roster comes out next week that would end questions about the roster

With some teams putting out rosters why not put out your roster next week they took coaches off the website get a refresh on the website website with the new players would make it look better it shouldn’t really change at this point it looks like recruits are coming the coach said the recruits are coming and if someone transfers you take them off like a pro site like the packers it’s almost football season it time

I get there will be good players next year but why bank a scholarship the time is now to try to go to ncaa tournament bank a scholarship in the future be a good program yeah that’s cliche but uwgb can be Amari is a sandy Cohen as hyped player Terrence Thompson and they could transfer in the future you should try to win now
Sandy Cohen is the base case for banking a scholarship.
GB isn't going to play 13 guys. Several guys get DNP-CD when every scholarship is used.
By banking a scholarship you have the flexibility to add good players whenever they become available.
I wouldn't commit to 13 players now unless you are really sure the last few guys are going to be worth it.
In the past GB was not cutting athletes who didn't contribute. That is different than other mid major programs.
As for Andrew Taylor he doesn't look better than Damontae Taylor. Andrew would need a skill development year for sure. In a 10 minute video he had like 3 skill plays. The rest was a great display of athletic ability and motor with some catch and shoot 3's. He is not a better prospect than Dailey or Wonders IMO.

Another important thing to consider as well is how many guys will get meaningful playing time with WR at the helm?
Just perusing some box scores, games where Wheeling got blown out by 20+, only about 7 guys ever really saw the court (other than the final 30 second bench clearing). A few outlier games had maybe 8 guys get on the floor and accumulate any stats.
With Linc, a major recruiting point was that there is playing time for everyone, and we are going to score. Now, Wheeling did seem to score a decent amount, but the vast majority of their points came at the line. A slower offense likely means fewer kids get on the court. Do kids want to come here if they run the risk of falling out of the “top 7,” so to speak? Winning will get kids in the door, but you have to play them to keep them.

I'm not sure if it is fair to extrapolate much if anything from Wheeling box scores last season. Ryan came in late and threw a team together. He probably took some flyers based on videotape. He was lucky to find 7 players who didn't have their underwear hanging out of their shorts.

Kellog can be used as a wing or big man so depending if chevalier is gone they could still have four big men in my opinion there was one guy on here that said kellog was wing I think he could play either or he might have to there aren’t a lot of scholarships to go around depending if chevalier is gone there could be a walk on spot depending if miles is gone but uwgb never had a walk on big a man during the last coaching regime uwgb did have one have one the previous coaching under Wardle with bross I believe maybe someone knows who it actually it one it doesn’t truly was there just was one they could do it again makes sense why waste a scholarship
