There were 800 transfers there’s still got to be a good high level who averaged 20 points per game sg small forward somewhere from a Marquette or other big school

It would be good to get a sandy cohen level athletic shooting wing player graduate player At this point of the offseason during a COVID year? Fat chance- Might as well reach out to Cade Cunningham's people to see if he wants to play against Oklahoma State opening night

But when you have a great athletic wing who can shoot the odds are low to get one but if they could get one athletic who can shoot 6-5 6-6 sg small forward who averaged 20 points at a big school they can be even more interesting and it would not matter if they lost will and only have one big man

Creighton played last season with no starter or main sub taller than 6-7. With the Nix expected roster, you could run a high post pretty effectively. If Chevalier comes back he and Thompson would be perfect for that.

Is there a chance that jio miles comes back since it doesn’t seem like he has committed anywhere?

Or they could go with a walk on big man maybe he doesn’t have the upside of scholarship big man but at least it helps the front court

I would think they would have to use a scholarship or pick up walk on player in the next couple of weeks?

The balance of roster is quirky, espcially if Chevalier is no longer playing. Also, we have not really heard from Paris Taylor at any point so who knows what he is planning.
If both of those guys don't play and Moore sits out as a transfer that leaves GB very thin with active players. That would leave them 8 guys by my count (PJ, Josh, Jacob, Blayton, Amari, Japannah, TT and Damontae).
The difficult thing in my mind is that there are several really good players that I think GB can land in the class of 2021. For example Cade Meyer, Foster Wonders and Brayden Dailey look like awesome prospects to me. Other guys like Ben Nau and Cameron Palesse might be a mutual fit. Plus you have some emerging big men in the state like Gavin McGrath of Onalaska and Grant Asman of Kimberly. Not to mention a guy Brandon Lieb from IL. So I don't want to commit to that many late recruits for this year and not have space to grab a bunch of really talented players in GB's recruiting territory for next year.
With that said when I look at what GB has for sure coming in they need a stretch big man for sure. A guy like Barlow Alleruzzo has been around GB recruiting circles for awhile. He would fit in now and be a two year commitment. Kristian Lafayette, Blake Verbeek, Hidde Roessink or Gavin Bizeau would need waivers to play right away but are under the radar guys with some range.
Otherwise, I like the guard depth GB has for this year. I am a little worried that GB doesn't have a great defensive matchup for some of the bigger wing players in the Horizon League. I think Damontae or Claflin could fill this role very well in the future but for this year I would like a guy with a little range on his jumper and a ready to go D1 body. This would be ideal for a JUCO player or grad transfer to fill this spot. Again, keeping options open for long term. Guys like Lorenzo Edwards from St. Joe's or Austin Trice from Portland State might be fits if they aren't already taken.
I am not writing off this year, I actually think with the guard depth GB has they will be competitive. I want to send a good message in year one and then be in position to land the best possible players for year 2 and beyond.

The coach said all the recruits are coming coming in he also made it sound like everyone was coming back five retuning players all the recruits were coming he has been confusing will have to wait for a roster to come out or maybe even November 10th the first game

Kobe King like he’s recruited him or your asking if he knows him that feels like a wild card

Think Will Ryan has any connection to Kobe King? I don't think it matters, it doesn't sound like King is a fan of the swing offense.
