Another day, another commitment! Green Bay has landed Toledo transfer Donavan Moore, a 6'3" combo guard from Michigan (originally from Hillsboro, IL).
Didn't play a whole lot for Toledo this past season as a freshman, only played in 8 games and didn't play more than 7 minutes in any of those games. But he had a decent list of mid-major scholarship offers as a high school prospect: Detroit, Miami (OH), Toledo, Oakland, IUPUI, Bradley, Tennessee State, UIC, and North Dakota.
He'll have 3 years left after sitting out next season...unless the NCAA votes to remove the sit out year for your first time transferring.

Darner and the staff seemed to be able to regroup quickly. Perhaps at least two of the recent departures were not total surprises. After being blindsided by Anderson and Kanter a few years ago the staff seems more prepared for the current environment of mid-major life. This may be the craziest time in the history of athletics in this country.

Looks like a solid prospect. Do we still have another scholarship to go after a big? The roster is bloated with guards.

Odd that we get a player from TK.......but we are deep at guard and he has time to develop more and get used to GB.

Players in the 6-2 to 6-4 range are plentiful and if you can catch magic in a bottle it can take a program to special heights. Dick Bennett's launching pad was recruiting 6-3, Terry Porter at Stevens Point. Darner won a D2 National Title with that equation. Amari Davis surrounded by a bunch of athletic players may be Darner's ticket with the Nix.
