Stop with the D2 or D3 guys? Who are they? Manny is the only player who transferred from a lower level, and he's one of our top 3 players. I shudder to think of this year's defense without Manny. Quincy Anderson is without a doubt a D1 caliber player, he'd help GB in every phase of the game. Anderson will have many options to choose from. Is there any recent video on Anderson? He did score 18ppg and he wasn't a one man show on a terrible team. Some of that has to translate to D1. It just feels like GB needs someone really dynamic at the guard spot and I would love to be able to see if Anderson has that kind of game. I literally have no idea who this guy is. I just don't like the thought of going to Stout to find talent. Seems like Will Ryan can get us good talent based on the last two recruiting classes. I would rather see high schoolers come in and develop. We saw the growth of Kamari and Cade this year already.

If it were me, I’m done with high school recruiting for 2022. This team needs immediate help. Two players who can make an impact right away and help fill the roster out.
Garden Davis Chris Bready
Grabbing both of those guys, gives GB the strength, athleticism and outside shooting we desperately need.
Drake Allen is another one to watch out for as well. Plays out in Utah. 6’4” guard.
Saw an article about James Graham today (transfer from Maryland, but from Milwaukee). Didn’t list GB as a team who has reached out to him. He said in the article he just wanted to go somewhere that he would play. Well we can offer that in Green Bay and he would be a solid contributor right off the bat.
These next 6-7 weeks are going to be very important to Green Bay’s successes next year. Strap in.

To be clear Anderson is from D2 not Stout. He has received initial contact from several D1 schools that are in pretty good leagues. To the point from Truther, brining in players with a year or so left to play wasn't the plan. If that was the plan then suffering through a 5-25 season was for nothing if the goal of developing young players for the future is no longer happening.
Now I get the program can't have another season like this one. So I would split the difference. If Anderson, Davis, Bready or someone similar can come in and help them win more games now then I would happily add them to the roster. I would still like to see them bring in a Clay, Rose or someone similar who can be part of the long term development.
I know he didn't play much at Maryland but I am surprised that Graham doesn't have interest from bigger schools. If he really is putting a value on being a contributor there is no doubt in my mind he would be able to do that at GB. I would have to believe he has connections to several of GB's young players from AAU.

Joey st. Pierre is in the transfer portal he’s we already have similar bigs but he would help balance the classes. He would help the young guys because of his experience proven starter in this conference.

Uwgb offered senior point guard/wing learic Davis from Milwaukee. 6’7. I hope an offer is coming soon but it sounds like it hasn’t happened yet, just showing some interest.

Learic Davis is a ridiculously fun player. An awestriking athlete who plays hard and can really handle the ball.
I'm shocked he's still available.

Perfect player to come into the system, maybe sit the first year build up his strength and get comfortable and then be a force the following year. Does anyone know if Claflin is on scholarship?

I know he is already committed to a division two school but Marcus Tomashek of Ashwaubenon sure seems like a player that fit Green Bay's needs, there is an additional opening if Listau is not returning.

According to the Dillon Graff Nate Jenkins interview Nate is on scholarship now so there should be a walk on spot I know it’s not most fascinating but they have had good luck moving walk ons to great players Lucas, Nate, Ryan Clafflin. So even with three scholarships available I hope they add a walk on.

Has actually contributed to this team. Claflin is yet to show me hes anything better than a D3 player. I always assume hes on the team to hit perimeter shots but that is yet to happen on any regular basis. And Nate has a lot of hope as he showed promise late in the season. We will see if he can continue that momentum. But using the word great is quite the stretch.

Sorry not bad we’ve also had players like Hunter Crist, Trevor Anderson, Henry Uwidawe, Eric Valentine and more not so good players but those players former walk ons to be on scholarships it’s great stories maybe not great but there not the worst players in uwgb mens basketball history and still stieber might not be coming back.

I watched a lot of high school ball over the last couple of weeks, some players that stood out to me and I think are still available include:
Clay - Menomonee Falls Wells - Eau Claire Memorial Paider - Neenah Rose - Westosha Central
I can't believe we left Rohde from Brookfield Central get out of the state. He reminds me of Decker.
