Sometimes in the upper Midwest we as a group of people tend to be pessimistic about our status. With that said one guy moving to D2 because he wants to score more points and try to set up a professional career does not signal the end for every player on the roster. PJ Pipes has spent 3 years in GB improving. He is a solid 2 way player and has a chance to be a double digit scorer on a team that should be at or near the top of the league standings. So no I don't think he's going to Lewis or any other D2 because Bell decided to do that. My guess is Bell found out the hard way that he didn't have that many options as a sit out transfer. Bell has skills and talent, hopefully this gives him what he is looking for. It is/was just speculation on my behalf, though, the kind that at least makes sense.

I am going to guess that Bell would have taken the right opportunity at the D1 level and found out that the transfer portal is a competitive place to hang out in 2020. That being said, he gets to go home and be a big time D2 talent for his last season.
