As a season ticket holder, I received info yesterday about the plan GB has for hosting first two rounds. If the men only host, the games will be at the Resch at 7PM. If both the men and women host, they will hold doubleheaders at the Kress with the women's game at 5:30 and men's game at approx. 8PM. It was not clear if both host in R1 and the men only advance, where the game will be ( I think the Resch). $10 tickets. Hopefully if the doubleheaders happen, many of the fans who attend the women's game regularly stick around to see the men.

3 seed now gets a bye to Thursday's quarterfinal via Detroit Mercy's postseason ban.

With the updated news for the #3 seed I see this weekend as a must win two games scenario. It is the only way to make sure of earning a top 4 seed. The #3 seed is important but coming away with at least the #4 seed has to happen and I don't want the team to have to rely on outside help to get the #4 seed.

With one game left for every team, it would be nice if the league came out with official scenarios regarding seeds. Still not sure with a win if GB is a lock for a 3 or needs UIC to lose. Hearing conflicting info.

Hearing conflicting info. If UIC and GB both win then GB has the tie breaker if Milwaukee beats YSU. If UIC and GB win but Milwaukee doesn't win it is harder to figure out because then OU, CSU and Milwaukee will remain tied. However it is broken though it doesn't seem that CSU is relevant because both GB and UIC would be 2-0 against them. However, UIC would be 2-0 vs OU and GB is 1-1 vs OU. UIC would be 0-2 vs Milwaukee while GB will be 1-1. Whatever gets Milwaukee on top of OU in the event of an OU/MKE tie is what GB needs. I believe Milwaukee wins that tie because they are 2-0 vs UIC but don't quote me on that. Either way just win baby!

With the 3 seed getting a bye, it would be huge to get the that. On top of that a loss to Cleveland St on Krash the Kress night would be an extremely low note to be on going into the tournament.

According to the tiebreaking procedures [ here] in this scenario where OU, UWM, and CSU are all tied after Saturday then it would be GB and UIC's record against all 3 combined, irrelevant of how each team did against each of the schools: So if I'm understanding it correctly then GB and UIC would both be 4-2 against that group and it doesn't really matter who the wins and losses came against. The tiebreaker would then move to the #9 spot which is Detroit Mercy - Green Bay swept them and UIC split so GB wins the tiebreaker. I have yet to find a scenario where GB wins tomorrow and wouldn't be the 3 seed. I think it's win and it's ours.

I saw tickets are only ten bucks for zone a and five for zone b. Very interesting that they have that cheap of tickets for a tournament game yet charge full price for a game against Stout. You’d think they’d be able to have variable pricing based on the importance of the game and day of game.
I don’t remember them having five dollar tickets last year against UIC. Really odd but I’m glad and it will be interesting to see how many people show up since it’s not short notice like last year was.
I’d think most people would just buy the five buck tickets and sit in the ten dollar ones unless they are going to strictly enforce you sit in your assigned seat. That would be a first though and I don’t see them having the attendance to enforce that either.
I’m glad things turned out the way they did. With how inconsistent this team and conference is this year I didn’t have much confidence in us winning two games to get to Indy even if they were at home.
I like that we will be on ESPN2 if we get to Indy. Not a fan of the 830 start time having to work the next day but from an exposure standpoint its much better. My snowbird parents couldn’t watch the NKU game earlier this year since apparently their ESPNU in Florida didn’t show it? But with it being on the deuce I’m pretty sure they will be able to tune in.

My point is they shouldn’t charge full price for a game against Stout. My friend bought last year for a game at the kress and paid 14 or 16 a ticket. Those games should be ten at most and probably only 5.

If you don't buy season tickets they still received a discount on a Kress game. Giving your product away for free doesn't actually lead to more people attending or being willing to pay for it later.

I think it’s likely we play Oakland on Thursday. I don’t see UWM or IUPUI pulling off upsets. How are you all feeling about that prospective match? On one hand, Oakland has won 5 of their last 6, but they have all been very close contests, and you’d figure the ball is bound to bounce the other way one of these times.
Then again, would I be shocked if a Steve McClain team got upset in the first round by a 6 win team? Absolutely not. We could totally be playing the Jaguars, too.

Going with IUPUI, Youngstown State and Oakland today. Who do you got?

Going with IUPUI, Youngstown State and Oakland today. Who do you got? My logical side of my brain say take the home teams. The vast majority of the rest of my brain says UIC or YSU are more vulnerable than OU is. So I like your pick if there is an upset but I am going logical and think this is going chalk tonight.
