GB layed an egg tonight and the next three are just as tough if not tougher. MKE has been playing well of late, GB always struggled with Detroit and Oakland is a different team with Rashad Williams. All on the road. GB better learn to play more consistent basketball or they will be on a 4 game losing streak before they return back to the Resch.

On the bright side a first round home game with iupui just became a lot harder to obtain.
Otherwise this wasn't good in any way, shape or form.

Better coaching would have this team with 3-4 more wins at least. Talent is NOT the issue. Heidmanns teams lacked talent. These teams the past 3 years lack coaching. They can beat anyone in conference on any given night but also lose to anyone on any given night. They make the same mistakes time after time with no adjustments. Things change for a game or two then go back to the same old bullshit. Rinse. Wash. Repeat. #GreenBayAllDay

Linc mentioned in the post game that they guys will try to get "2 out of 3" in the remaining road games. I just hate that mindset when you are in a logjam and playing three teams that we are very capable of winning. Will they win all three? Hard to be confident the way these guys struggle to put consistent performances together but it just isnt a good message from the top.

Coach is almost too honest sometimes it seems. If he thinks this way and voices it sets a terrible precedent for his players.

A better message might be, " we have 3 tough road games in front of us - we will need to play our best bb" . Or something like that.

This is where boring, typical, coach-speak is good here.....Don't sent yourselves up for failure with the '2 out of 3' mindset.

Coach Darner was a winner as a player, was a winner as a coach at St. Joe's Indiana and was a big winner at Florida Southern. Maybe it is a defense mechanism or a control fan expectation thing but I think it is okay for him and anyone associated with the program to talk about winning as an expectation. I highly doubt that Coach Darner only wants to win 2 of the next 3. He should feel comfortable enough to come out and say their goal/expectation is to win out on the road. He would get less push back from the fans even if they only did win 2 of 3. This program has a strong tradition of winning. He was hired because he has been a proven winner. He shouldn't have to hide from that, he should embrace it.
