Back at it tonight on Pluto TV/Big Sky Channel at 7pm.
MSU is in transition but has a winning record, though 2 of those wins are non D1. Based on stats they want to play defense and have limited scoring, however that might be skewed due to their schedule. They have shot 39% on 3's so that is a cause for concern.
Overall a road win would feel amazing, let's go!

Does anyone see any scenario in which Amari Davis stays here all four years? He just seems way too good to be playing at uwgb doesn’t look raw like Keifer did his first couple years.
He seems like the real deal already. Not sure why he chose gb over Dayton and Xavier but if this keeps up I don’t see him lasting here another year much less three which stinks. He already seems like lincs best recruit and makes Trevor Anderson look like a middle schooler.

Amari has been dominate. His mid range jumper is a bit of a lost art but combined with a quick step he can get anywhere on the court. Let's not give him any ideas guys and lay off the leaving stuff- I think he will love playing two games close to home every year against the best teams in our league. The guys look confident and beside a couple open looks in the corner, have really closed out on the three point shooters. 20 solid minutes away from a road win.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves guys, enjoy the now and don’t worry about the future!
Now can we close this game out in the second half? No way we shoot 67 percent again. Hunter Christ has been solid tonight, plays better defense than Kam.

Unreal performance! Amari is so fun to watch. Everyone really got it done tonight, several guys in double figures, but one key was limiting turnovers and really good passing.

That was a fun game. Great to see them bounce back after that awful Colgate game. Dominated from start to finish. Hopefully they can carry this momentum into Wednesday and give Xavier a tough game.

I am curious to see the advanced stats from this one as it was impressive to watch. If anyone who thought the sky was falling after losing to a good Colgate team last week- watch the replay of this one and take a look at what the rest of the Horizon League is doing. GB shot the ball so well and took full advantage of the Montana State turnovers. Cody looks like the player we all saw in the CIT last year. Winning the first game of a 4 game road trip can go a long ways. Xavier hasn't exactly been dominate but also hasn't done anything to lose their top 25 ranking from the preseason. A performance like tonight will scare the crap out of Xavier and UCF. Well done!

That was fun! KenPom had this one down as a 4 point loss and only gave GB a 36% chance of winning. I love it!
Green Bay shot the lights out, took care of the basketball, and even won the rebounding battle. The guys were definitely ready to play tonight and it was an all around impressive performance. Let’s keep it rolling Wednesday night at Xavier.
Also loved the shoutout to the Cody Schwartz haters by Coach Davis after the game on the postgame radio show.

Overall that was the most complete GB game in a long time. They started to bend a couple of times but could not be broken. The found each other in spots that they could succeed and never tried to do too much as individuals. It was a sight to see.
Plus they really attacked MSU, those guys weren't ready for the pace.
Cody was really aggressive snatching the ball. He is starting to believe in himself.
Amari is going to be great to have for the next 3.5 seasons. He gets to spots and then lets his teammates find him. He isn't doing more than he is capable of on offense. Dude is a skinny guard with only 1 three point attempt on the year but is still scoring a ton because he knows where to go. He was behind the zone or at the ft in a gap getting catch and shoot buckets. Now if he would stop getting beat deep on defense he would really be rolling. Overall great freshman and great future at GB.
One play that didn't go great but still showed me where this team was at happened in the second half. Bell was sprinting balls out on a rim run, a core element of the RP40 offense that rarely gets rewarded with the ball. It was a tough catch and finish and as you will recall he didn't finish. Yet for a guy who hasn't found his flow yet he was busting his butt to find a way to fit in and get it going when the team was up double digits and likely going to win. Guys played hard and sacrificed to find other ways to get it done.
Also, Josh had a great game. He really stayed within himself and scored in the ways he could and should.
There was 3000 people there on a snowy night. Their local media covered the game on the local news and the paper did some nice pre and post game articles. Even in Bozeman MT there are other choices to make. Getting the word out and helping people remember to choose hoops is key. Venci actually wrote an article about a road game. That is a good start in GB.

What did Coach Davis say? I wish there was an MP3 or podcast version available that I could link to... But anyway, Brian Kuklinski asked Coach Davis about Cody's solid play over the past few games and here is how he responded:

Not sure why he chose gb over Dayton and Xavier He didn't have offers from Dayton or Xavier Sorry I know he had interest from them at least. DePaul gave him an offer and as poor as they have been recently it’s still a Big East school with way more exposure.
